Subway, Winchester

I think the staff in Subway are always helpful and friendly, they always have a smile on their faces. The service is fast, although there are occasional queues. The food is yummy too.

Subway is my favourite place to eat because the bread is always nice and fresh and you have and ultimate selection of things to put in your sandwich. It is at the bottom of the high street, near the King Alfred statue. Shame when I always seem to go into Subway there is always polish people working who get my order wrong. Anyway definitely go there if you have never been.

Subway is a greatn place to go for a quick lunch or dinner. The rolls are really good and fresh and the meat seems to be good quality. The free refills on the drink is a really good idea for the summer. Great place to eat!

This is a nicley positioned building with polite staff inside. It rarley has a long queue and the decorations ive the building personality. I like the view from the chairs looking out towards the guild hall. However there seems to be not enough staff and is always messy.

subway is an excilent resturant with outstanding service. the sandwiches are of top standard quality, you will just have to keep going back for more!

Subway is the best place for curing hunger whenever you feel hungry. it is easy fast and relativly affordable. The service is freindly and helpful. I would highly recomend it.

An excellent place to eat! This place is one of my favourites for having a quick bite to eat. Its small and functional, with the usual wide choice of fillings for your sandwich. The service is quick as you would expect and the general hygege is good. The only slight drawback is that it can get quite busy at times.

subway is amazing! it is the best place to visit after a long night out and is cheap as well. There are always offers and vouchers being passed out, so watch out! the staff are friendly and quick which means the tonnes of people who want to bag themselves a subway dont get kept waiting!

Loacted right at the bottom of town in winchester, the shop is actually quite small as seating is limited aswell. The staff seem to take a long time to make one sandwich, but the prices here i think are reasonable considering what you are getting.

From 8 to 2(am), Subway offers a great service. Its food is top notch! Go for the sub of the day, every day its different! Staff are fast and easy to work with. A must for anybody who likes fast food!

Nice little place to pop into to get some lunch, its not the biggest subway in the world and could do with being a bit bigger with some more seating as it is limited, and the staff can sometimes seem a bit abrupt but the food is good if not a bit overpriced for what you get.

right at the bottom of town, never tastes fresh. go to winchester library and just further on there is a small shop called Earl of Sandwich, worth the extra minutes walk. there sandwiches are out of this world. trust me

Always the place to go for quick food, or to satisfy really late night hunger! The food here is really good, with a wide range of sandwiches, which you can put together, pretty much however you want. The staff are usually friendly, and almost always efficient, so you dont have to wait in ques for long. There is some seating, but not alot of space as this is a small shop. The shop is also open late, so you can eat whenever you ned some quick food! Prices are good, as is the food, a good place to eat.

Subway is the best place to go if you're a little merry and you need some munch. People always harp on about kebabies but i don't really rate them. choose subway! There is a wide selection of sandwiches/toasties available, at a reasonable price and pretty much tailored to your needs. The staff are friendly and considering its often fairly late when we choose to visit incredibly pleasant!! There is plenty of seating and it is conveniently situated in the centre of town, close to all of the bars/pubs/clubs.

The sandwiches here are very good if you know what combinations to order. There isn't much space to sit, so you will usually have to get take out. One issue is that the staff tend to mumble, so it's hard to understand them causing embarassing requests to repeat the question.

Subway is fantastic! These mamoth sandwiches fill you up for hours but often leave you bloated, but everyone loves a food baby! Hundreds of options to choose from, and plenty of seats and tables you can relax and take your time eating. The staff are friendly and patient when if you are anything like me, take a while to decide what you want. The cookies are yummy too. Bargain prices and plenty of offers. Also its open long hours, which is great if you have the munchies later on in the day when everything else is closed.

Subway is not a shop that I would go and get lunch from asw I do not find there food tasty. I feel that it is either very slow service or you feel like it is being thrown at you. The place to eat is dim and dull. Subway can give some ok sanwiches if you ask for advise or you have tried on before and enjoyed it, and many people do like there food, and it also depends on what kind of food you like or dislike.

A real favourite now, Subway offers a good range of deliciously filled baguettes, and at very reasonable prices, considering you often get a larger and more tasty portion than other fast food outlets, and it is of course more healthy. This Subway, is typical of many, not very large, but this isn't a real problem. The staff are quick at making your tasty sandwich, so if you're very hungry, you won't be waiting long.

A great place to grab a quick lunch, and a wide variety of fillings which all adds up to a lovely sandwich. A foot long sandwich is even better, and will fill you up unlike a McDonalds would. Only about £2 more for a re-fillable drink and a choice between either a cookie or a packet of crisps.

Subway is a brilliant place to grab a quick lunch or snack after going out in winchester, as its really quick and made fresh for you. It is a lot healthier than getting most fast food, and so we love to go there in between dance rehearsals. The staff are usually friendly, and i have never had a bad experince in there and there are often deals such as two people dine for 5.99 which is good esepcially if you are a student. i say usually friendly because once my housemates were there and they were served by a guy who was quite rude to them when they couldnt decide what they wanted.

I LOVE SUBWAY! disgusting greasy food that tastes amazing and takes about a minutes to prepare. This winchester one is like any other with greasy floors and shabby decoration but it produces the cheap food so i like it. It's on the high street and in a perfect position if you want a very quick something to eat.

This branch of subway is relatively small and can get busy around meal times however the staff are friendly and the service is fact. The food is cheap and available, I've never asked for something which hasn't been there. A healthy option but there is also a healthy range which is promoted so you know what you're getting. There is seating in the store but this is limited but with a gorgeous park opposite in the summer this isn't a problem.

this store is all you need open the entire time only seen it closed once and that was abotu 4 in the morning, the subs are as good as the other stores and they make them well, they ocasionaly run out of certain breads but not a big deal as all of the bread are nice.

Situated on the lower High Street opposite the Guildhall, Subway is a convenient place to get some proper food without burning a hole in your pocket. Pretty much everything about your sub is optional, including every detail of the salad, bread, and whether you want it toasted. The opening hours make it a good choice for a food break on an early morning shift at work.

Great, fresh, fast food at really low prices, subway always ensures you get exactly what you want and exactly how you wan tit and you know what is going into your meal so you can make it as healthy or as unhealthy as you wish. The store is always clean and the staff are well trained so it never takes long to get your order.

Subway is my favourite fast food shop and it always comes in handy on the way home from an evening out as it is open late and the prices are good.
The choice of food is brilliant and i love that you can choose what you want in a sandwhich and the price does not go up everytime you ask for something.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan, but virtually everyone else I know loves Subway and names it their number one place to eat in Winchester. The prices here are really good and the service is quick. You can always expect great tasting food from here.

A great place to go if you want something on the move, or just food in general after about 9 o'clock in Winchester. They do great range of different fillings and breads etc, which makes it great if you're a picky eater, or just like to have a choice. It can get busy, however most of the time its absolutely fine.

Great food that comes at a good price. The staff are very friendly but the shop is very small and not situated in the best location. Good alternative to mcdonalds though.

My friends love this place, personnally i'm not a great subway fan. This one is small but it works well.

The subway in Winchester has friendly staff, and they like getting to know their regular customers! The range of subway sandwiches on offer is good, with a range of both English and foreign fillings. They are always tasty, and it is up to you how much salad you want to put in your sub. There is also a big selection of sauces available to add to the tasty effect of the sandwich!

Very social place although not very big. The food is easy and cheep and there are many teenagers there. This is appealing for my needs but not as much for the older generations.

Great fast food shop and sells at really great prices. You can choose what fillings and sauces you have and it can be as healthy or fattening as you like. It's always fresh and made right in front of you. Good quality of food however it's a bit of a trek going there as it's right at the bottom of town. People are more likely to see a shop on the way walking there and just buy from there.. there are better and healthier food joints than subway though.

Good fast foo, but don't be fooled into thinking it's healthy. It is cheaper than many deli's but unlike a deli you don't get the same level of quality in the food. Yes it's fresh and yes it's cheap, but honestly there are much better sandwich sellers in Winchester.

Excellent place to get a quick lunch if you are busy. There is a range of rolls to choose from as well as vegetables to go on top of the sub. The 'sub of the day' is very popular for its very reasonable price as well as the 'meal deal' which includes as much drink as you want and a snack as well.

Great place to grab a snack when in a rush, or you can sit in to eat. Great, very large selevtion of different types of sandwiches/rolls available at a different number of cheap, affordable prices. High, fresh quality with a number of different types of bread, cooking options and standards. Also available - drinks, cookies, crisps, childrens meals. I have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed with the standard/quality of the food.

What a great place subway is and the one in winchester won't disappoint. Although limited seating is there, Winchester its a great place and offers loads of interesting a peaceful places to eat. Compared to other fast food places the amount you get for your money is great!

Subway provides good sandwiches, although being a vegetarian i don't go much on their veggie pate type Sub. But the location in Winchester isn't bad as we hang out in the park and its close. Prices can be a bit on the expensive side though, but it does depend on which Sub you choose.

Shame about where it is at the bottom of town but good food and cool staff. I recommend it anytime of day but there are other places closer to the high street.

Subway is a baguette bar. It produces delicious baguettes which are divine! It doesnt take long to make either, and being near the centre of town makes this an easily accessible lunch bar. There are a huge range of baguettes and fillings to have, and they are all made freshly in front of you. Staff always seem happy to help, and the prices are reasonably set as well. A recommended lunch stop for anyone, and also a healthier option than a MacDonalds or BurgerKing.

This subway is like most others, a reasonable size, food tastes like all other subways. It's right at the bottom of town, which might be considered irritating if you're at the top, but it's not that bad really because Winchester High Street isn't too big.

I love coming here with my friends to just sit, relax and eat. Everyone is really relaxed and the food is really good.

brillient place the place you go on a drunken night apart from the sub of the day on the weekends are the bad ones but the bread is really good especially the hearty italina and allways opt for extra cheese the future!

Subway offers good quality food for a really reasonable price, there is a good variety of sandwiches avaliable and you are able to have as much or as little as you want. The staff are really friendly and there always lots of offers on so you get good value for money. The opening times are great as it is open early until late in the evening, I would definately reccommend it.

Awesome place to go and eat for a quick bite! I love the fact that you can have more or less anything you feel like! they All taste really good as well! Wish i had even more of an opportunity to use it to be honest! It should be higher up the High Street!....but is totally worth it to walk down to the bottom for a sub!

OH MY DAYS... SUBWAY! literally all u need, especially after a long night of drinking its perfect and fills you up for a reasonable price! Pick your bread, pick your filling, pick your sauce, simple. Pretty cool pictures on the wall too!

this place is ideal; cheap, fast, tasty food in the city centre. the food always tastes good, the staff are generally efficient and fun, and its a nice place to sit
