Sofa Workshop Limited, Exeter

I bought a sofa here about six years ago and it still looks good, with loose covers that have washed well. I also thought about buying another one about two years ago and found that they had a great range of styles and fabrics (subsequently decided I didn't need one!). Not the cheapest, but they have good sales.

A few years ago I bought a big footstool here in the sale and it has lasted the course well. I have recently bought a large sofa which was also in the sale very reduced from 2022 to 999 inc delivery. Admittedly I will have to make a new cover (nothing wrong with existing but it's white and totally impractical in this house) and it does have a slightly wonky leg but nothing too serious for the price. I think their designs and materials are good and the way they are made is probably OK.Good friendly service. However, since I wrote this the sofa which I bought 3 weeks ago still hasn't been delivered. It is finally due this morning (sofa workshop sub-contract delivery) but is already late and I have had to chase the shop again which is very boring. This has unfortunately turned into a saga. It is now Thursday (4 days on from last delivery date) and still no sign of the sofa. The delivery company failed to deliver on Monday because they had the wrong postcode (their sat nav took them to an address just over the hill) and couldn't get me on the 'phone. Obviously an address is not enough these days as no one refers to a map. Anyway, Justin the manager arranged to have it redelivered the following morning but it never appeared and I'm still waiting...........
