John Lewis is one of the biggest stores in Southampton. It has lots of levels and has plenty of goods in there. They sell all sorts of stuff like kitchen tools to 42 inch hd tv's, to laptops, to childrens toys. It has everything you could possibly want there and that is the only store you need in Southampton.
John Lewis is an amazing store because it has everything you could possibly want! It has the latest electrical goods including T.V's and radios etc. It has luxury furniture and an amazing kitchen hardware part. Overall an amzing store and a must see if you go to West Quay.
biggest store in west quay.. with four floors... has absolutely everything. shop is very clean and modern. staff are very professional, helpful and friendly!! There is a john lewis cafe on the top floor too, aswell as wedding lists too!!
Big store, situated in west quay! It takes up all 4 floors of west quay and offers you all means of homeware, clothes, furniture and even their own cafe! shop is clean and modern and all staff are friendly and keen to help and assit you!
John Lewis is a massive shop - the biggest one in west quay - spread out over two or three floors. It sells basically everything, from clothes to kitchen utensils. However, stuff is really expensive, but of a good quality i guess. The store is sparkling clean and shiney, and staff seem smart and keen to help. I would recommend shopping here if you have a lot of money!
A great shop not without its follies though. The shop is huge one of the biggest in Southampton with ample parking on a two store multi car park, which as far as im aware is free. The shop ranges on several floors and includes good food. However the prices are at best extortion, I brought the simplest light shade I could buy and that came to around £15. The staff are very helpful and always there to offer advice. Overall a nice place to be although I would not go buying anything in there again unless your wallet is bulging!
A fantastic shop, one of the biggest in the West Quay Centre, it's prices are good, and it stocks all the usual department store stuff, home furnishings, clothes, toys etc. They offer free delivery to the local area, although disappointingly this doesn't include to the Isle of Wight! Nevertheless, a good store, and worth a visit. They have good particularly good post-Christmas sales, I've found some lovely cheap packets of Christmas cards there.

excillent store, everything you could want under one roof. high quality products at resonable prices. great service and a relaxed atmosphere. everyone from every class is welcome, get to john lewis!
This shop does contain some high quality products, but even so, they do seem still rather overpriced. I would recommend this shop for people who are looking for a specific home hardware product that is of high standard but for a general shop around or if your looking for a bargain this is not the shop for you. There is a very extensive rage of products to choose from however and 3/4 floors!
John Lewis is the dominating shop of the Westquay complex. It comprises a number of sections including menswear, womenswear, electrical goods, etc. The shop itself has a very modern aesthetic and is always very clean. The staff are well turned out and very helpful. There is a desk in the electrical goods section which can fix problems you are having with electrical products which is very useful although there is usually a long cue for this.
This is a huge store, with plenty to offer. There are many different areas dedicated to menswear, womenswears, electricals, homewear and many more. The staff are proffessional and eager to help. It s very big though so be prepared to ask foor help if you get lost. The quality is very good but the prices do sometimes seem slighly higher than you woud expect. However overall a great store with lots to offer.
A huge shop is southampton selling a wide range of products that are top quality, the staff there are really helpful and will show you around if you ask. The prices here may be consideribly high compared with other shops though

Really good atmosphere, nice to see a company treating its employees well. really shows dividends when you ask for help etc. good publicity aswell with the whole waitrose/john lewis being the best 2 company's to work for. definately a good place to shop. *****
An extremely large store in the West Quay shopping centre. You can park very close either in the shopping centre car park or opposite. This store stocks, fabrics and sewing materials, electronics, clothing and accessories, bedding and household goods and toys. There is also ane xcellant cafe on the top floor along with a gift wrapping and gift list section. The gist list is easy to set up and to use and is a lot of fun - you are given a scanner and can scan anything in the shop that you want to add to it. The make up section is also really good, with the prescriptives stand being especially professional and helpful. I went here for a make over for my wedding make up and received excellant service.
there is a lot to see in this store. the best thing i find, is that they have a device for wedding gifts where you can go around the whole store, and choose the items you want to purchase. not only this, but you have everything you want in one store. there is a lot of products such as clothes, appliances, and a lot more to take your fancy. i find that the restaurant on the lower ground and on the upper ground can give you a relaxing break from the stress that you may endear from your shopping experience.
a great store for all ages.
a great store for all ages.
A huge John Lewis set over three floors in West Quay shopping centre. They sell almost anything you could think of from clothing right through to frying pans. Although alot of it is quite expensive, they also have some real bargains. The quality of the items they sell is fantastic and they have some really lovely things.
John Lewis is a great place to shop with a large variety of products for everyone's needs. Including many friendly staff which are always happy to help and is a good place to visit if you are going out to shop in Southampton. As the store is well-known it attracts many visiters from arround the area.
This Shop has absolutely everything you could ever want! It's all high quality and although the clothes are a little on the expensive side and not aimed at my age range i love walking around it! It's always very pretty and useful at Christmas
John Lewis in Southampton is amazing! There is a huge range of loads of different types of products and I find the gift section particularly useful at Christmas and Birthdays. I bought a CD player from the tech part and the staff seemed to really know what they were talking about and gave good advice but weren't pushy. The store is always well staffed.
This a massive store with loads of floors and a lovely cafe at the top of John Lewis. It has a great gift section and loads of clothes and toiletries with an especially good wedding section. Its right in West Quay which is very convenient. The prices are high but the quality is high, staff are generally friendly but apparently pay is awful so working there isn't great.
Everything you could wish for in a department store, it has absolutely everything you could want in it and the shop is massive! The shops layout is useful too and it isn't very difficult to find what you want. Customer service is always very good.
John Lewis has to be the best of the huge department stores around at the moment. They have literally got evevrything on sale and at very good prices. The atmosphere inside is great; it's never cramped or 'hostile' like in some of these kinds of stores. The staff are great too - all really clued up and friendly.
This store is huge! and sells something for everyone, they have a great range of clothes, for both women, men & children. They also have some great shoes and bathroom products. I'm a big fan of origins =]
The store is set over several floors, and has escalators and lifts meaning everyone can get in and out, and its situated right by the multistory which is also great.

Perhaps the ultimate UK retail chain. We wandered through the mattress department with no intention to buy and half an hour later clinched a deal on a new one, with which we are very pleased. There was much choice as in most departments. Easy parking . For value and service - is it possible to have a bad retail experience at JLP?
This particular brach of the very well known store has one of the best customer services that I have witnessed.. The staff are always polite and happy to help you find the iteams you require. This store has a lovely Cafe'/restaurant with a lovely selection of food and drink at the top level of the store. John Lewis sells items from lingerie to jewellery.
Brilliantly situated in west quay shopping centre in southampton, this is a very large John Lewis store, which has a huge range of products on offer, its definitely worth going into, and it's difficult not to if you're at west quay.
This John Lewis is huge! It's got just about everything you could want and it leads into the main area of West Quay shopping centre. The staff are really helpful and it's well laid out.
Really good big department store, that sells pretty much anything for the home! Because people have to walk through to get the West Quay, it attracts its customers through good offers etc. The staff here are really friendly and helpful and it's definitely one of the best department stores around, good quality!
John Lewis... where to start?! John Lewis is 100% the best department store in Southampton and seems to sell basically everything. The quality of the products is outstanding and the staff are so helpful and friendly. It really is amazing when you visit and there are entrances out to West Quay as well. Definately worth a visit.
large store set over different levels. each floor is for different things. easy to find what you want, but expensive and not always good quality.
We bought our television from here and I have to say - it's a great shop! They have everything here! The shop is massive and the staff are generally very helpful.
Possibly the best shop in West Quay. Its got everything in it. My favourite section is the sports section, got loads of kit, also the mens clothes section is full of designer clothing for a good price. Its also got a nice cafe at the top, sit by the window and you can see everything!
John Lewis... The best department store in Southampton. The store is very large, spacious and exciting. There is so much on offer, ranging from make up, trampolines, gym equipment and butter knives! It is always interesting to visit the store and everything sold there is of good quality and you will never find anything tacky in John Lewis!
This is a huge store selling a wide range of things from furniture to clothing. The store has separate levels for different sections and has a large variety of stock. Everything is high quality and its generally a great store.
Absolutely brilliant store with everything you could think of available. The store is massive with many different floors and a lovely restaurant on the top floor which offers great and well priced food. The products on sale in store are also priced well and the staff will go out of their way to help you.
I'm not a huge fan of department stores but this one is great. Everything is easily located and moderately priced. it's a must if your out shopping in Southampton and your more likely to find exactly what you want in here! The cafe located on the top floor of the store has a fantastic range of food, from stirfry to tea cakes. The view from here is amazing too and definitely worth a look.
You cannot go wrong with this shop. This particular John Lewis has four floors of just about everything and anything that you could think of. The store is extremely smart with lots of little displays. Very helpful staff too.
a very large shop with an extreamily helpful team of staff.
it has a wide range of clothing in all sizes.
it has a range of labels and designers which are all genuine and appealing.

Took me a little while to get some service, and it's a little overpriced. The staff are friendly though and there's a great variety of stuff in the shop.
Is a massive store, with four floors - which is allways kept immaculate. Offers huge range of products and brands, at reasonable price. The staff are presented very well and are allways very attentive. This store stocks several of the catologue products, and also has the childrens uniform range instore. Highly recommended.
This is a huge 4 floor department store with its own restaurant located on the top floor. This shop has almost any product you could be looking for ranging from kitchen utensils to clothing to cosmetics adn also electrical equipment such as computers, iPods and televisions. There is never a lack of staff adn they are always more than happy to help with any query you may have whilst looking to purchase something. The staff here are all very helpful aswell as polite and i have founf always go the extra mile to help their customer.
this store is very big and to a high quality. they sell a variety of things which can be expensive but well worth it beacuse of the quality of the goods which you buy. all the staff are friendly and smiley whilst you are looking around the store. sometimes it can be hard to find someone to help but this just may be becuase its a busy store.
Massive store with everything you could ever want in it. Well staffed and a good atmosphere, easy store to get lost in with its huge choice of products
John Lewis is a fantastic department store, filled with brand new, exciting products for everyone to enjoy. The clothing department is high quality for both men and women. The health and beauty section is filled with products from the world best known designers and there is an extensive electonics section, offering high definition tv's, Ipods, laptops and cd players. I recommend John Lewis highly.
This is a huge store! There are a lot of clothes stores inside as well as furniture, fabrics, electrical items, really anything you want you can find in here.
This is an extremely big department store with a huge variety of things for sale. There are lots of shops with in this store for example levi, warehouse, benefit and lots more. It is very helpful to have so many things in just one store and there are lots of staff on hand who are always very helpful. Recommended.
A huge, modern and easy-to-navigate store based in the centre of Southampton; John Lewis has everything from fashion and beauty, to menswear, to sports, to children's clothing, to home furnishings and electrical goods. There is a cafe on the top floor, serving hot and cold food/drinks, and escalators and lifts connect the three tier shopper's haven. The store links to the West Quay car park (something worth bearing in mind when in a busy city like Southampton) and leads out into the main West Quay shopping centre. Its a brilliant store which has practically everything you could possibly need...and if it doesn't have what you want, there is a fast and reliable ordering service which is sure to track down what you require. The staff are friendly and helpful, and overall: its well worth a visit.
A huge store selling a huge range of products ranging from cloths to furniture. The store is divided into categories and has three levels making your shopping easier. Escalators, and elevators help you transport from level to level, and they all link in with the modern theme of the store i.e. glass elevators. The range of prices varies. The majority of products are all sensibly priced for the quality they possess. The store links to the main West Quay shopping centre making access easier, and very convenient store to visit when in and about town centre. There is also a cafeteria on the top level selling a selection of food, hot and cold.
John Lewis is a really great place to go if you want to buy anything from furniture to school uniform. It's a really great store and the cafe is great as well. I highly recommend it.
This John Lewis is absolutely huge and even though you can easily get lost there is a lot to see and buy! The quality of their items is great and you can find just about anything and evrything that you need! They sell things fom appliances to clothes to lighting to shoes! It is definately worth a visit if you have not already been! The staff are freindly and there to helo you,
This huge retail store sells everything imaginable from a toaster to perfume. The staff are all very frinedly and helpful to show you where certain products are in the store. The quality of the goods are very high and the price is fair in comparison to that. The shop does not feel busy when you are in it due to the width of the aisles and spacing of the displays.
Personally I find John Lewis far too expensive. Even regular household items give the wallet a fair beating. I know its not as good quality, but I'd rather shop IKEA!
Big, high quality department store with lots of different goods, high quality jewlery, womenswear, accessories, childrens clothes, gifts - just about everything. For some people it's surely the only stop necessary at West Quay- they sell everything from toys to fabrics to books to stationary.
This is a realy good department store with almost anything you could possibly need! You can also find some cool stuff you have never seen before. Some things are quite expensive but others are ok, the staff are friendly and helpful and it has a great atmosphere, especially at christmas with the decorations.
I feel it's a great store! You will probably be able to find anything you were looking for inside it!
The staff are always up for helping you and the prices are good!

GREAT department store, taking a whole corner of West Quay, and with multiple floors, with everything set out systematically, so you can easily access what you want. With great quality comes higher prices, but this department store does not dissappoint with it's AMAZING quality. The staff all seem friendly and happy to help. Highly Recommended.
big store, with a great range of shops, always very busy which isnt a good thing really and there needs to be a bigger food area as theres is never any seats.
big store! sell a massive range of clothes! can sometimes feel too big! but if you know what you want its easy to go in and find it! the staff are also really helpful at helping you find what you're looking for.
this i a good shop for almost anything it has lots of different varitey of stock the housewear range sold here is particually good the prices are quite high but you are paying for the quality of the goods
great shop to buy anything really. this is quite a big shop. It can be a bit pricey for some things but not too bad. Everything seems to be good quality and the staff are helpful.
Quite a small electronics section on the top floor and slightly overpriced. However this store sells pretty much anything from running machines to baby toys to colanders. If you need to redecorate your house this is the ideal place to visit. Its not too pricey either.
I bought a stereo from here and 3 years later its still working perfectly and has kept its condition well. For £200 I would expect that and it had a good warranty on it as well. This store is mainly for women and homewear and has some great kitchen gadgets.
Very big and very good if you know where to look. Hundreds of members of staff all over the place all very happy to help. Sometimes a little on the expensive side of things.
This large department store is best in furniture, homewares, electrical, fashion and gifts. It really does have it all. Quality of items is fantastic though the prices are little higher than average. The store is well stocked and maintained but does get rather busy at peak times. The electrical items section is a sure favourite to me!
A huge department store with 3 floors. it has homewear and utensils, fabric, haberdashery, gifts, clothes, pictures, electronic stuff. Its very easy to get lost in but the staff are all very smart and helpful. Quite expensive but the stock is good quality and if you get gift vouchers for it then its great value for money! useful for your wedding list!
