St James Park is the home of the Toon Army, situated in the heart of the city centre by St James Metro. It has excellent facilities and seats around 55,000 people in its large open aired stadium. In every block they are plenty of toilets available, with lots of opportunities to purchase food and drink at intervals etc. They are lots of function rooms available, and lots of exhibitions are held at SJP.
There is a club shop where you can buy club merchandise, Shearers Bar situated next door where you can enjoy a meal and a pint whilst watching the match. There is a newly opened museum tour and stadium tour. There are opportunites to support the club in purchasing membership for your children in the junior magpies/magpies membership where you can special benefits christmas parties/soccer days parties, free reserve games. St James Park is well worth a visit.

St James' Park! Home to the Toon Army! Atmosphere is amazing, Shearer's Bar is great for watching matches, just outside the stadium. You can hear the cheering on match day for miles, especially if you live in Castle Leazes or are at Leazes Park. Easy to get to as it has its own metro stop.

If you study in Newcastle, than you'll know to what extent the geordies love their football. St James' can hold 52,000 supporters, making in one of the best stadiums in Britain. The atmosphere is great, and can be heard from the centre of newcastle, and i use to be able to hear the crowds when i lived in castle leazes. I would suggest that if you have never been to a live football match, this is the place to do so. Toon Toon, Barmy Army.

Behold one on the finest footballing grounds in the world, St. James Park, and coupled with the unstoppable passion of the Geordies it provides one of the most amazing atmospheres in which to watch a game. At 52,000 seats there's not enough room to fit in all the Geordie faithful, so it packs out nearly every match, and with verses such as 'I'll brave the dark at St. James Park at the Gallowgate end in the rain' knocking round newcastle, you know the kind of fan in the terraces is of the most faithful, loyal and greatest type of fan there is. No half-hearted, 'Highbury the library' atmosphere, no swarms of picture taking tourists or entire stands full of suits as in Old Trafford, 52,000 of Newcastle's finest, it's as clear as black and white that it's THE place to spend 90 minutes.

The legendary St. James Park is definitely one of the best football grounds in the country, the fans are always in great voice so there's always a good atmosphere. I recommend sitting right at the back of the Leazes end, the players on pitch are tiny but you are right next to all the away fans and this is definitely where the best atmosphere and banter is.

As a football fanatic, i love St James Park, home to one of the best teams in the premiership, the toon army. Great atmosphere on matchday, with over 52,000 toon fans fitting into the stadium to watch their beloved team play. One of the highlights for me, was the return of kevin kegan! (although it may have been when they just recently played sunderland)
You wont be able to stop yourself from singing, THERES ONLY ONE KEVIN KEGAN.

St James Park is one of the largest football stadiums in the UK, it can seat over 52000 passionate Newcastle fans! The layout can be improved with the stadium having two large stands and two small stands. The stadium also has a club shop and Shearers Bar where you can go for a pre game drink and a bit of banter.
