If you are looking for something different to wear and don't want to pay loads for it go here, but be aware the clothes may look nice and are cheap but the quality isn't very good. If you want to wear it once or maybe twice there alright, but thats it. Just another warning to, if you can't stand crowds or queues DON'T go there on a saturday.

how tidy and busy the shop is greatly depends on what day you go. I find visiting midweek is the best as it's not so busy or messy.Great if you want the basics to add to your wardrobe and also for accessories to update your look. Kids clothes are really good and wash very well and for the price you don't mind if they get wrecked, two mins after you've brought them.
Primark is ok if you want cheap clothes, but I found them to clingy and dont give you enough room, Im a size 14 so I dont know why they dont fit properly.
They are good value for the kids if you need things for them to play about it and are not worried about them getting too dirty.
Accesories are a bargain to say the least!!!
Ths shop itself is massive, and it does get very overcrowded, they need to spread there tills out a bit more over the store, as it gets chock a block with people trying to get by.
More clothes tend to be on the floor then on the rails, there does not seem to be enough staff on board to keep the store tidy
A huge 2 floor Primark with the women's section at the front and men's section at the back of the ground floor and the kids section upstairs. Always finding itself very busy and as a result, very messy (clothes really are everywhere) Primark is the perfect place to come for a bargain t-shirt or dress, The t-shirts are so cheap that they are perfect for a night out that is bound to turn messy! The clothes of a surprisingly high quality and some of the deigns available for both men and women are spectacular. The only problem with Primark howevver, is due to the fact its so cheap and so mass produced, someone is always going to have the same clothes as you! A quick tip for avoiding the queues - take your selection upstairs to the kids section where the lines are always much shorter!
Sometimes this Primark can be really good, yet other times you just cannot wait to get out cause clothes and shoes are everywhere all over the floor and the queue is so long you think its never gonna end!! (especially on a Saturday!!!) You should go in on weekday mornings to prvent all this if you can possibly!!!
Although this store is good because of the huge size of it and its central location along Portsmouth high street, inside the store it is not so good. Clothes are all over the floor often crumpled and damaged and there is little organisation. The staff are also rude, and are not very keen to help.
The worst Primark I've ever been in. Whilst most are crowded, this one was packed, noisy, messy and when I joined the queue it was over 20 people long (for four tills, there were another couple which weren't being staffed.) There were loads of screaming kids running around, and everything was disordered on the shelves.
A new store so is clean lookig. A great variety of clothes but it can get very stuffy as the clothes are all places close together so when its busy its hard to move! there are lots of tills so ques move quickly and staff are friendly and chatty. However always lonng ques for changing rooms.
I liked this brach of Primark, it was really tidy - which i find unusual for Primark! However, it wasn't the biggest that I have shopped in! I didn't have to queue for very long either. Altogether, a pleasant shopping experience!
I hate going to Primark, because the layout is always messy and you can never find clothes int he right size as the clothes are scattered everywhere. And it is always packed, especially on a Saturday and it actually makes me feel claustrophobic that i cant bear to be there for longer then 15 minutes. The queues are massivvvee aswell! Although to be fair, they do stock the odd good piece of clothing and some nice lingerie.
Admittedly not my favourite shop in the world, but it does have a large selection and prices are very cheap. Though the material you buy from there are cheap they do not always tend to be of most confort of last very long. Staff are always helpful though and it is located in the main city centre shopping area which is very useful anad easy to get to.
A huge Primark on the high street in Portsmouth. You can get some fantastic bargains in here with tops starting at one pound and lots more other fantastic things at bargain prices. It would be alot better if they had more staff working on tidying the place up as there is always clothes all over the floor which doesnt really invite people to come in and spend their money.
This Primark is quite a large store, however it is always absolutely packed with people and the shelves and rails are very unorganised. There is a very wide variety of clothes but it very hard to find what you are looking for. I have bought a few things from this store however I only get to wear them once as they shrink in the wash due to the awful quality material. Primark is very good for cheap clothes though as everything is low priced. They have quite nice shoes and lingerie.
Most people think it just sells womans clothing but they do sell mens. It's located towards the back of the store, or if you come through cascades it is by the entrance. You can get some really nice clothes here and they are so cheap. Only downside is that they dont always fit amazingly and you need time to look for things! Really good if your tight for money!
Primark sells loads of really cheap clothes but the quality isn't always great and things can sometimes break easily soon after purchase. However the clothes are nice and the staff are nice but the shop is very crowded and te ques are often horrendus.

This is not the MOST disorganised Primark I have seen yet it can sometimes be quite bad! It is much smaller than the Southampton branch so if you want variety I would uggest going there instead.
I can't bear going in here, it resembles a jumble sale. It's always untidy and cluttered and there are clothes everywhere. The clothes are very cheap, but not great quality, although the shop is well situated on the main highstreet.
Good size shop spread over 2 floors, everything is really cheap in price ranging from clothing for all genders and ages to homewear. The shop gets very hectic and isnt very neat with piles of clothes on the floor. However the changing rooms are of a good size.
This is a really good branch of the Primark stores! It is really big and airy, with two entrances to both a shopping centre and the high street. One major advantage of this store is the changing rooms! In most Primarks it is not worth waiting so long to try on cheap clothes, but it is nice to be able to here. It has also always been really tidy when i've been here, and easy to navigate around!
This is one of the best Primarks i have been into, however it is usually very messy and crowed, the staff are hard to find, but once you have located one they can find the item you are looking for very quickly.
For a very cheap clothes store, Primark sells decent quality goods and is quite a popular shop. The staff are always cheerful and happy to help. However, there is occasionally clothes left on the floor or creased up in a ball.
quite a large store, which is great as you get the full range of clothes, as well as primark home located up stairs. however, it is usually very crowded making it also very messy and hard to shop with out getting agitated with all the other people around you. best time to go is mid afternoon as its usually reasonably quiet.
Although this store is huge and stocks loads of stylish, affordable clothes I can't stand how messy it is. The general public tend to become more agressive as soon as they step inside. I pity the staff who clearly spend all day tidying. The store crams too much stock in and therefore it's always crowded and does not make for a pleasant shopping experience.
Again another really good store with room and lots and lots of changing rooms which lots of room. Good staff and not very messy like the other stores. Also less crowded.
Primark has a lot of cheap clothes but the quality of clothes isn't always great and when you buy a dress from the store for example, you know someone else will have it aswell. This Primark in particular isn't usually that tidy but the staff are always hurrying around trying to pick things up and always offer their help.
Primark is a very cheap clothing store. you can find some good quality clothes in there. everything is very cheap but the quality isn't great. the store is actually a bit of a mess. clothes on the floor and not folded properly and things like that. the staff are quite helpful though. it also gets very busy and the lines can shorten very quickly.
This is quite a new and very big primark with two floors. When it is not busy it is great to go around and search out some awesome bargains however when it is busy clothes tend to be all over the place and it is hard to do any shopping at all. But it is great that when you do find good buys the price is so cheap.
Even though not the largest primark i have been to i have always been able to find just about anything and everything i'm looking for! It can get very busy in there so i recommend shopping in the morning. Items are replaced every day! So if you leave dissapointed that they didn't have your size go in the next day and they will most likely have it again!
This is a very popular shop, and you realise this instantly when you walk in, because of the shear number of people inside. If you are on a budget, then this is an excellent shop for you. Guy or girl, although the majority of the shop is for the female. The quality of the products is obviously lacking, and this is evident at a touch, however the clothes soon soften up after a wash or two, and then you're safe in the knowledge that your shirt cost you £4, when your mate's Ralph Lauren one, cost him about £60, and Ralph Lauren had a sale on... if you can find the more asthetically pleasing items of clothing in here, then it's a definate buy, because it hardly makes and difference to the money in your pocket.
A very popular shop. Not for people who doesn't like other people having the same clothes.
The clothes are very very cheap, perhaps due to the lack of quality. Not that there is a lack, but you are paying for what you get.
Staff very helpful, and as can be seen by the business of the shop that it does not dissappoint. Particularly good to get bits and pieces for fancy dress parties etc. Recommended.
A large store, which makes it almost impossible to be kept clean and tidy. Very friendly staff and cheap prices, yet one can't help noticing the quality of the clothes does suffer. Worth a look if you need a 'throw away' item, but for comfortable, good quaity clothing, this is not the place.
This shop is the best. It has a huge range of clothes and there all soo cheap so you can buy 3 of the same thing for one item in say newlook. the shop is a good size and the staff try to keep it as tidy as possible. well worth going to it.
Not many a place that can top the prices at Primark. Simple clothes for extremely good value. They have a massive range of clothing for boys, girls and kids. The staff are always there to help and will make your shop easy.
This has got to be one of my favourite shops in portsmouth
The clothes are excellent and the value for money is great.
Also, as the clothes are so cheap that you would expect bad quality but i ave had some clothes from primark i have worn loads and they have lasted months!
The staff are always friendly and happy to help.
Shopping in primark is always a pleasure!
I like primark because it gives good value for money, it is just bad because of it's exploitations and it's use of sweat shops. It has it's advantages and disadvantages but is a good shop.
This is a good shop, the clothes are so cheap and there are loads of clothes in stock. The only problem is it is always packed with bargain hunters and you can never move around. Accept for this the shop is a good asset to commercial road.
If you like cheap clothing which is in fashion then this is the place for you, Primark isnt the best place in the world but for people who just want to spend hours browsing through then go for it. The store always seems to be busy and does look a mess most of the time. The customer service isnt too good here either but overall not a bad place to shop
this place has its good and bad
* too busy and hardly any where to move.
good thing is its reallt cheap and the staff and lovely because they go round with you in the shop until your satafied
This is a massive stop with loads of cheap bargins but the quality is not to die for, the styles always seem to be in fashion and they never seem to ever run out of stock. The customer service is not great, but it is not an up market store in the slightest, but for cheap bargin's and some stylish cheap clothes this is the place to go shopping for you.
I'm not a huge Primark fan really. I can see the concept of it but meh. The one in Portsmouth is frankly massive. You can get lost in there without too much effort. However for such a huge store its always jam packed with people and pretty tricky to get to where you want to be as someons always in the way. That said tremendous range of clothing at very cheap prices. If you need something for fancy dress (tee'shirts etc...) well worth a trip as you'll pick up a bargain.
Love shopping? Then love this Primark. It's hoooooggggeee! This crosses two floors and (unlike some Primark stores I could mention) it was spotless. Everything was on a hanger or hanging up - even the discount section. The staff were really helpful and I whizzed through the queue so quickly I didn't realise that I had been served. Great for cheap clothes.
