The staff are really friendly and the food is good and well priced. The interior is relaxed and comfortable and they have an area outside with a few tables and chair for smokers, I would recommend this place.
I love this place! The staff are always pleased to see you and joking around. It's just been recently refurbished so all the furniture is modern and comfortable. The best offer they have is the house wine for £5 a bottle and it's really not bad! Good location, only a short walk from the high street and close to the student housing 'hub'. They also do food (although I haven't tried it) and cook in an open kitchen, which is always sparkling clean and fun to watch. Definitely worth checking out.
This is a nice looking bar, newly refurbished and nicely laid out. There are plenty of places to sit and a nice wide open area near the bar. The staff are very friendly and the drinks are reasonable. They play quite good music which creates a good atmosphere and there is also a good beer garden out the back.
This is a brilliant pub to go to for food or a quiet drink. It is comfortable and stylish with a small, pleasant beer garden for smokers. Drinks range in price, but you can get a reasonably pleasant tasting bottle of wine for 5 pounds. The food is Oddfellow's main drawing point. Incredibly reasonably priced (between about 6-15 quid) with good size portions and incredibly tasty, good quality ingredients.
Excellent little place. This pub really has come a long way since it was "The Thirsty Camel" - It was terrible back then. Now it's freshly decorated, clean, has a nice comfortable atmosphere. They serve lovely food, and during they day they have great coffees, late & hot chocolate. Definitely a good place to come for a quiet drink with a meal.
Lovely wine bar with good prices (bottle of house red/white only £5). Other drinks are not quite so cheap but definitely are not expensive. The layout is nice with a main room and then smaller room off to the side as well as a patio area.Food is also served and is lovely, prices range from about £6 to £12 and deserts are about £4 and are excellent. This is a great place to come on your way somewhere else or as the venue for the night.
The place is lovely, friendly staff and fantastic decor including wooden sculpted chairs and some modern paintings.Service is quick, prices are average & they offer a good range of drinks. The food is freshly made in the open kitchen, good selction, the chicken choices are fab!
