Every Englishman's dream restaurant - good steak and good wine. I have been impressed both times that I have been here. Stylish interior with good service. I am not a great red meat eater and fussy about how my steak is cooked, it's one of those things that if well done is delicious and badly done is disappointing. Happily my rump steak with bearnaise sauce (you can choose from a variety of sauces or have it plain) was excellent and I chose roasted cherry tomatoes to go with it which were good too. Delicious fresh bread while you're deciding what to eat and I thought at £70 for 4 people including drinks was pretty good value.

Interesting - that contradiction that is a restaurant selling mostly steak - all thew usual plus ribeye and T-bone. I'm instinctively against steak in restaurants due to the fact that 95% of a good steak is in the growing and the butchering. No amount of fantastic chefery will resuscitate a badly bred, hung or butchered steak. On the other hand, I am the first to admit there are times when you 'just need a steak'. Mine was OK - the two 14 year-old were in seventh heaven and C was happy with hers. The place is well laid out with a buzzing atmosphere and the bar staff and waitresses were attentive. Not bad value either.

Great restaurant for meat eaters, mostly serving steaks, but also tuna and chicken. Waitor was very friendly and food came quickly not entirely sure if that was because we were practically the only people in the restaurant. Central with parking. Brilliant for any occasion.

I like this Harrys Grill Bar, I thought everything about it was good, the food, the waiters, the drinks. They specialize in steaks but did other things like risottos and chicken breasts with salad. The chips and other side orders were delicious and the bread that we had at the beginning of the meal was baked that day and tasted great. I really liked the style of the Restaurant and really enjoyed my visit. Easy parking which was a bonus.

Great place to go! Very stylish, good parking right outside the door. Central (next door to timepiece) Mainly serves steaks, but also do stuff like chicken breast, tuna steak etc. AMAZING SIDES.... reccommend the soy sauce and honeyed mushrooms and great chips. One of exeters well kept secrets!
