good service. the food is fine although nothing special. very similar to pizza express, gourmet pizza, prezzo, and all the other pizza restaurants in winchester. good for large groups of teenagers as it is always noisy. often packed at lunch time. nice decoration too. they dont particularly like everyone having tap water.

beautiful restraunt, everything about it is brilliant. tasty food, tasy service, a real italian experienc at a resonalble cost. myu thought is you always get what you pay for.

ASK is in a great location at the top of the high-street. The food and atmosphere are good, and the staff are helpful. You can book a table of any size, but bear in mind that with larger groups you will have to book your meal before you arrive. Never ask for pizza surpriseyoull be given a margarita!

Better than Pizza Hut by a long way. The food is hand made and often at a high quality. If I'm going to get some Pizza, where I want a friendly atmosphere, and a nice place to eat it, I'll head here every time.

The food here is a bit over priced for what you get as for the prices they charge you would think that the food will be good. The service isn't that good as they lost my booking and also the cups they gave me where quite dirty with lipstick marks on it and the staff were reluctant to change it for a new one.

This resturant is set in a really nice building and has a lovely interior. Staff are relatively friendly, just normal really. The prices are quite high but the food is really nice! It is nice for a family meal or alone. The facilities are nice and the whole atmosphere of the resturant is nice and quality. but i wouldnt suggest it as a regular as the prices are quite high.

Fun with friends, beautiful building, good food (although i wouldn't go near the specials board....you run the risk that it's just leftover...) In Winchester the service is fairly prompt, efficient and helpful, althought on busier nights, when consequently the staff are more hurried then this can reflect on you as the customer. ASK are reasonably priced and accomodating to food whims and will tailor the basic menu to suit your needs.

Good Italian food served here! Well situated in the High Street, this is a great place to eat out. Fairly large menu, covering all things Italian, the food here is very good. The service is fairly quick, although sometimes ther is a wait fo a table, but there is seating for you if you are waithing. The staff are efficient but can be a little unfriendly at times. The restaurant is nice, clean and very large with an upstairs as well as on street seating durig the day. There is also a private room offered to book for large parties. Pricing is quite expensive, although what you get is good.

The food is very good, with a wide variety of options. The lighting is perfect for a date or late night meal. However the staff can sometimes be grim and unhelpful.

I love ASK don't get me wrong, but Winchester's staff are often rude or dissmissive. My family and I were here the other week, and not once did our waitress smile or make us feel wanted in their resturant. We were also waiting to be seated for several minutes, the place wasnt even busy, and eventually sat ourselves down in the nearest table. The food was amazing as it usually is, but the service was fairly poor. A must try is the honeycomb cheesecake!

Ask is on of my favourite places to eat and the staff are very friendly, they try there hardest to caterer to your needs. The mood is great not to dark but not to light 10 out of 10! The food is delious as well, not once have I ordered something and they have been out of stock. It is also not that expensive, soit is eaisly affordable.

It is in a good location, a lovely place to sit outside in the evening. The private room upstairs offers a great atmosphere for larger groups. The menu could be considered average, including the expected pasta and pizza dishes, however the specials are often interesting and tasty. The service is attentive and helpful.

I often go to ASK in Winchester with friends for evening meals- the atmosphere is buzzing but peaceful and the high quality interior of the restaurant makes it a great place for special meals and parties. It gets busy so i'd recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. There is a lot of good food on the menu and the staff, though often rushing around, are always helpful and friendly.

ASK is a good place to eat if you have a bit of time, as its not always the quickest service when busy. absolutely beautiful building with all the old beams of winchester when it was capital all those years ago! lots a spacious and they cater for huge groups of people. service can occasionally be very slow but food is always og good quality and the waitors are lovelu people.

A good place to eat in the evenings, with a not too pricey menu and a good range of pizza/pasta that everyone will find something they like. The service is fast and friendly, the building is almost historic though and sometimes a little gloomy but the atmosphere makes up for this.

A really great place to go out with friends, italian food, mainly pizza, pasta and salad. All tastes good and at reasonable prices. Service was fast and efficient and the staff were friendly. Can get busy so making reservations is useful but even without them waiting with a drink isn't for longer than about 30 minutes. Nice friendly, fun atmosphere, I love eating here.

A nice little restaurant that has very helpful staff. The service is often poor but when you are with your friends you don't seem to notice. The pizzas are delicious and the pasta is also great. If only they could get it to your plate a bit quicker.

They have clearly thought about design of the restaurant as with layout. It looks presentable from the outside and the smell is as good as anything to intrigue you in.

a good little place just on the high street that lets you sit on the high street and look at the rest of the town pace you by. the food is sort of standard but the location makes up for this no end. the service is a bit dodgey but acceptable all in all

This restaurant always has a wonderful atmosphere. The waitors are always extremly quick and helpful and especially polite all the time. There is a seating area outside on the high street perfect for summer. The food is always of the best quality.

Located on the middle of the WInchester High Street, this pizza/pasta restaurant is set in an old fashioned building with wooden interior. The staff are generally quite friendly and they provide a fast service too. This would be an ideal place for a date or romantic meal as the ambience is very calm but friendly.

This restaurant is really good as it is nice and big and the staff are really helpful. Food is really good and it is fast service as well. The chain is well established and this winchester store is especially good.

I've eaten here a lot of times, there's usually a table available when you book, but neither is it a ghost town when you turn up but there are a lot of people enjoying themselves. My favourite part is the back room at the top - perfect for groups for birthdays etc. It's a really beautiful room with a massive table to fit about 15 people. A lovely picturesque building to eat in compared to other venues in town.

Essentially fast food with excellent service. Good range, watch out for their honeycomb cheesecake (it's divine!). Great for non-pizza lovers as there's a good range of pasta and salads as well.

This is a nice restaurant, with fairly cheap italian food that's tasty as well as quickly served. This particular branch is fairly large, with an upstairs and spacious downstairs. There are sofas to sit on while you wait for a table, and they cater well for large parties - i once went with a party of 15 and they were very accomodating, easy to book and dealt well with the prospect of 15 teenagers making noise! The food is nice, and sometimes even original, setting it apart from normal pizza restaurants.

The layout of the restaurant is not modern and spacious but is beautifully traditional - the interior in-keeping with the quintessential old-fashioned feel of Winchester. The service is relatively quick and the prices average. It is usually very busy, with a lively and vibrant attitude and a very successful reputation.

I feel that Ask is a very attractive and welcoming resturant, the service seems to be very quick and the overall quality of the food is great. Also it is not too pricey so anyone can go and enjoy in my opionion.

The staff in this particular branch of ASK are very helfpul, I really enjoy going there when we visit my girlfriends parents as its got a great atmosphere and the food is very tasty. The best dishes in my opinion is the goats cheese starter, mushroom pasta, and chocolate cake. All will cost around £20 with wine.

I love ASK restaurants! The food is great, the staff are wonderful and you leave with out emptying your bank account. Easily 9 or maybe even 10 out of 10.

Ask's nterior consists of one large square space, with a long bar, and there is an open-plan kitchen towards the rear. The decor is blue and white, although the exposed piping has been painted purple and yellow. This is basically an evening circuit so don't expect it to be busy during the day, although it is wise to book for an evening table. The menu is very reasonably priced with a range of pizzas and pasta dishes available.

I always come out for a meal here when I go home. They have just introduced some new dishes to the menu which are very tasty. You can get a 2 course Italian meal with wine for around £15 so its very reasonably priced. I have yet to have a bad experience here. The staff are lovely and very professional, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is great.
