One of the late night pubs in Winchester, Alfies is open after most others have shut. One of the cheaper pubs for drinks, this is a really popular pub in the evenings. There is alot of seating inside, but also a large garden outside, some of which is covered, with alot of benches and table football. Staff are generally friendly, but normally rushed. Because of prices and opening hours, it can get extremely busy, but makes for a good affordable night out.

Alfies is a great place with a very sociable atmosphere. The sofas inside are great and make you feel like your in a scene from friends while your sat their drinking with your besties. The outside area is amazing, its a huge size and great in the summer when the weathers great and all you want to do is enjoy a cold drink with good people, there's even pool tables in the open area. The drinks can be described as a bit pricey however theres often offers on so if you stick to them you get the best of both, a great pub with bareable prices.

This pub has had many a name over the past 5 years. The latest is Alfie's as it is opposite King alfreds statue. It has been revamped recentley to form a trendy but homely pub. The bar staff are quite friendly, if a little chatty with their mates whilst serving you. They have nice big sofas and a log fire, making the place very warm and comfortable. There is also an outdoor smoking area which becomes a seating area in the summer. It is far too overpriced though, £8 for 2 vodka and oranges.
