This Starbucks is in a really nice location with a really nice view. It sells many different types of coffee's and also sells some sandwiches if you need some food also. The prices i feel are quite expensive but it is a well known brand so you pay for the name really. The quality is pretty good so you do get value for your money also. Nice and clean premises.

You get a fantastic view of Edinburgh castle from this particular Starbucks. It gets very busy during weekends though, and is full of schoolchildren on the weekday afternoons. That said it is large and spacious and a great place to take in the view and relax.

this starbucks is pretty big, has plenty of wooden seats and tables and a few comfortable sofas if you are lucky. its popular for a quick coffee while shopping, a rest reading the paper and full of school teenagers on friday afternoons and the weekend.

Often packed with high school children after school hours, but a good vantage point to see the castle. especially nice during the festive season for a nice warm cup of coffee.

This Starbucks does offer the usual great drinks, comfortable seating and some pretty exceptional views of Edinburgh castle, and so I can completely understand that it may be some people's favourite spot but the hike up to the first floor and the ability to miss it - it is a single doorway between shops - are slight negatives. In the summer months I much prefer the smarter Starbucks at the corner of George and Castle St, which has some great outdoor space as well as similarly spectacular views of the castle.

Personally this is my favourite Starbucks in Edinburgh. Its got lots of comfortable seats and offers great views of the castle. Good for a rest from all the shopping or sightseeing
