Absolutely lush food! For any backpacker in Brisbane the food is brilliant. Cheap and cheerful atmosphere. The hostel itself was lovely. Very secure, lots of room although maybe more expensive than other hostels. The bar however is a must on a night out. Best night had to be ladys night where you are literally given champagne for being female. What more could a girl ask for?! The decor was really modern, and it was a pleasant place where you could quite easily spend the evening.

This hostel has a really nice, modern interior with excellent facilities and clinical cleanliness which makes a change to some other hostels.

Each room has a bathroom and individual lockers which comes in very handy for keeping all of your belongings in and keeping them away from thiefs. It is also wheelchair accessible making it easy to get around for everybody.

All of the staff are really helpful and they do their best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible with the job centre, travel agency and a bar all downstairs in the youth hostel.

Hostel in Brisbane which attracts a great crowd of people and is great fun to stay at. A friend and I checked in here only to find that we were in the same room as 2 of our friends from school, not bad on the other side of the world! The bar really comes to life at night and gets pretty rowdy, all good fun. Thankfully the hostel is near to the bus station so you can get out of Brisbane quickly, always a good idea since its such a rubbish city. The rooms themselves range in size but most have their own bathroom which makes a nice change from the communal bathrooms most hostels have. Great place to stay, shame about the city its in
