Water Margin is an all you can eat Chinese buffet that is open for both lunch and dinner servings. The place is always busy, but due to the large number of dishes available you never feel like you miss out on anything. One complaint I would have is that the tables are too close together, so you feel slightly herded in, and that you are going to bump into the person sitting behind you when you get up. The food cannot be faulted though, with typical chinese curries, noodles, fish and other things available.

All you can eat??
if my belly could fit it all in then I would, I adore chinese food, and would live off it if I had the choice.
Menu is packed to the brim, and the prices are pretty good too, well worth a visit if you down that way

Quite simply the best chinese restaurant in town in terms of food quality! The lunch time buffet is ridiculously cheap for the amount of food you can get and they serve dishes which are not usually found in a normal chinese restaurant. Noodles, Shrimp, vegetables..... are all cooked in front of you should this be what you would like from the very extensive buffet menu. The only problem with this place is the closeness of the tables to each other - they really are packed closer together than school desks - I could literally hear everything the tables near me were saying! For top quality chinese food however, this is the place to go!

Awesome place, especially if you are a fan of Chinese cuisine. All the food on the buffet is super scrummy and at only 12 a person you can easily eat more than your moneys-worth. To eat the same amounts and dishes you can eat here would probably cost you the best part of 30 in a restaurant. There are the usual traditional starters, plus a few IIve never seen before. Lots of different dishes, noodles and rice. Seafood, chicken, pork and beef dishes. You can even pick your ingredients, take them up to the open kitchen and request the chef to cook them in front of you for free. There is fresh fruit and ice cream for dessert and whenever I visit I am thoroughly fed by the time we leave.

Water Margin is Amazing, the food is all you can eat and is just the greatest thing in the world. Though it is about 16 to get in, it is just so worth it! The tables are lovely, staff are nice and the food is just everythink in China and they have some lovely puddings!

I like this place for all the reasons everyone else has said, the great food, the location, the staff. All are great. However everytime I go I get the impression that im in a warehouse crossed with a cattle market. It is not particularly well decorated, and is very noisy. I would still go there despite this because the food is very good, but only in certain circumstances. I would never go here on a date because it is very loud and unintimate, however it suits perfectly if you are after a relaxed place to go with a group of friends to have a relaxed meal, particularly at lunch time since it is far cheaper.

I absolutely love this place. It is an all you can eat Chinese buffet with every kind of international chinese food available. The prices might be quite deer but if you are a big eater and you love chinese food they are a bargain. All of the food is really nice and everything is constantly being refilled so nothing runs out. It is also a really nice place to eat your food with a lovely backdrop of the spinnaker tower. The staff are really friendly and are all chinese so the food is only cooked to the highest standard. A really great place.
