Not a bad place to meet up to start a night out, but they let toomany tenny boppers in !!!!!

This walkabout isnt a bad place to go for a few drinks. Spank the student night during term time is always class, as is the bandeoke on a sunday night (you sing kareoke with a full band playing behind you) an interesting experience! the only problem with walkabout is when the sailors are in town, they converge on it like birds of prey and it can sometimes get out of hand with fights etc.

The floors are always very sticky which makes dancing very hard. Music good but dance floor is very small. Also always seems to be packed pull of men which made me feel quite uncomfortable! Steps to toliets are also very steep which is not that practical in a bar with drunk people!

A good place to start the night before moving on elsewhere with lots of seating for you and your mates to chat and drink. Cheap drinks - try the pitchers and the place also usualyy has a buzzing vibe. Not a huge fan of the music and dancefloor area!

This is a club/bar. it has good night and not so great night. Although not massive it does like to play the old school cheese music. A great atmosphere and everyone seems have a good time. So worth while night out, and if you decide it is not for you it is located in guildhall so you can go to other clubs in the near by area which are surrounding walkabout.

Wicked club. The student night is brilliant, cheap drinks and in the heart of the club scene in portsmouth. The space is large and they have a great range of House DJ'S in there each night.

The club is quite a good size great for a night of chart hits. Quite a small dancefloor in comparison to other clubs in the area but student nights on tuesdays are always a good option as its cheap.

Walkabout is part of a good chain of bars and is a good addition to the portsmouth clubbing scene, the selection of music played is good and fits everyone's needs, during the day they serve a good selection of food and it always seems to have a steady trade. They also put the local football tema on the screens aswell for their matches.

Walkabout is a lively sports bar, particularly aimed at students. It has T.V's all around and one main projector, which is used for Rugby and Football matches. Prices vary greatly depending on the day, but are never too expensive. It has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and is a great [place for a student.
