HMV, PORTSMOUTH

The Dvds are great, but quite expensive. Hmv sells dvds, games and Cd's. The shop has every dvd i could think of because when i watched a film on telly i looked in Hmv and i found it straight it away! The staff are definateley nice and friendly and even help you to find special offers.

This store is pretty organised. The prices are really cheap there if you WATCH OUT for great bargins! The downstairs is full of games for consoles. . . Also theres an escalator going upstairs where all CD's and DVD's are. . . There staff there are quick on tills getting the customers through fast!

Staff are very friendly and very useful if you need some help finding something. There is a great selection of CDS, boxsets and DVDs and you can find pretty much anything you want. However prices are slightly high in here and you can sometimes be paying more than you would be in other shops.

A nice big store which is situated over 2 floors. They always have massive sales on so you can always find a fantastic bargain in here. The staff know the store really well and are more than happy to help if you cant find anything.

This HMV has 2 floors, one which is prodominantly occupied by gaming equipment and the second floor which is bigger is all the music and other goods. The staff are very knowledgable about the product range and get help you find exactly what your looking for.

This HMV has two floors, it is located inside gunwharf , in the centre of the outlet. It has all the lastest titles avalible from games to dvds to music cds. If you cant find what you are looking for ask a member of staff to help as they always seem to know where everything is and they are always so helpful

2 floors of just great offers situated smack bang in the middle of fareham. you can always be assured the latest dvd's, games and cd's in this store as it isnt the biggest or most popular, stock levels are normally very high

A good sized store spreading over two floors with the bottom floor being more of the gaming section and the upper floor with more films and music. Staff are friendly and some good promotions are normally happening in this store

A great music shop for everyone, regardless of personal taste. The shop is layed out in Alphabetical order, making it very easy to find the CD or DVD you wish to buy and there are also sets of headphones everywhere, allowing you to listen to CD's before you decide whether to buy them or not. It has two floors and is therefore rarely crowded. Recommended.

I am a fan of HMV. This store is huge, the oppurtunity to listen to music is standard, and the staf will always find/show you what you are looking for. Fantastic prices and offers are not uncommon

Great store, situated over two floors and has a great product range, has cd's games, boardgames, game consoles etc. The staff are really helpful and definately know there stuff! The shop due to its large size has every CD you could want at a very reasonable price. reccomended

This is the best HMV store in Portsmouth. It is very big and spacious unlike the one in commercial road which is all cramped together. It has a great selction of DVD's Games CD's etc. It has also a very modern look and some great deals. The store layout is very organised and so you can find stuff without having to ask the friendly staff. Also the shop has many headphone areas where you can sample the music which ive found very useful.

I prefer this branch of HMV to the one in Portsmouth City Centre because it is alot bigger where it spread out over 2 floors meaning you have more room to move. They have a good selection of DVD's and CD's and always have offers going on.

A spacious and chilled shop. It is always easy to find what you're looking for due to the organised layout. If you still have trouble, the staff are very friendly and helpful. They also never fail to impress with deals on cds and dvds. Headphones dotted around the store allow you to sample music which aids the buying process.

The HMV in Gunwharf Quays is very big compared to other HMV stores I have visited. There is a floor which sells games and games consoles while upstairs is where you find cds and dvds. The prices are typical of HMV but there are some good deals on dvds and games.

One of the biggest HMV's i have ever been too, has a floor dedicated to games and games consoles and with games for everytype of platform they really do reach everyone. The first floor is full of DVD's and music and has another huge range, there is almost always a sale on and you are guarenteed to pick up some bargins here.

This shop is located in the centre of portsmouth and is surrounded by alot of passing trade. Its location is ideal because you can get all your shopping done at once. The HMV itself is of good size and has a wide selection of CD'S DVD'S and other media related products.

Really well laid out store even though it's not that big. The staff know the products well and are always polite and happy to help. If they don't have what you are after they will order it in and are always really helpful in trying to find it.

I really like this store. there are two levels to it, providing a spaceous area and it has a very stlyish and layed back atmosphere with modern decorating to create this feeling. The staff are young and friendly and can help you search for that CD you've been looking for.

HMV is a store that sells music, dvd's and many more items. It is perfect if you need to buy someone a present and you've left it until the last minute to do so. Its always good just to come and browse in here because there products and prices are always changing, you often find something you were not expecting.

It also has a good stock of the older or more niche DVD/CDs, however, it is worth contacting the store directly if you're looking for something specfic. Reasonably priced, frequent deals (e.g. buy three DVDs for £20), and well worth a visit.

This is a very good hmv store with two floors there is a lot of room and everything is set out well so it is quick and easy to find what you are looking for. The prices are reasonable and the staff are very helpful. Recommended.

well layed out shop and it very spacious, if you need help to find something the staff are very kind and will help you look for what every it is, and uf you cant find it they will look in other stores to see if they have that item.

this shop is very good and everytime i go there i have fun. you can listen to albums on like an interactive music player and choose any album you want. the staff are happy to assist you if you need any help whatsoever

HMV is a very large store. If you try looking for something on your own it could take you a while. But the staff in there are very good and if you just ask they will tell you exactly where what you want is.

A large HMV offering a massive selection of DVD's, CD's and a slightly smaller gaming section. They also often have books on sale and the latest autobiographies dotted around the place. The prices are standard DVD prices you will find in any DVD shop making it hard to compete with online prices, but still its got a lot to offer.

At HMV they offer alarge variety of cd, dvd, games, consoles and may more accessories. The HMV store is very well proportioned so you get the freedom to move about freely with worrying if you going to knock smothing over. The staff HMV are vert good because they know where all the stock is located.

HMV probably have the biggest range of music and dvd's out of all the shops in the local area. They get all the latest releases out, gig tickets, special editions. There are always loads of staff about to help you find what your after amongst there massive collection of music/dvd's. They can even order items in for you if they're old or rare.

HMV this is a lovely shop with a huge range of cd's for modern day mucis and the olden days music. It look's like a small shope from the ouside but infact it is a relatively big shop with it beging 2 storied high. The staff are very helpful indeed. The also sell game's for gaming console and musical modern equipment in the way of ipod's and speaker's.

Always pleasantly suprised when I ascend the escalator into HMV here. It looks very small, but very smart from outside, but once your in there's actually plenty of stock. It can however, get quite busy from time to time.

A standard HMV interms of CD's DVD's, the layout of the store is fine however the games section is tucked away in a remote corner. The upstairs is very large and offers all the chart topping artists as well as unknown bands. The electronics section seems overpriced and there is an appauling lack of vinyl in the store, which whilst not a mainstream medium, could be a bit larger than a basket in the corner.

HMV in Gunwharf is too small! It's only on one floor and there really isn't enough space for a good selection of dvds, cds and games. The only way HMV can compete with online sites like play.com is if they have enough choice, and this one doesn't deliver.
