Great place to get all your hair bobbles and headbands, wide selection but quite pricey and not the best of quality.
The do sell other bits like pens and pencils, good accessories for hen partys and fashion jewellery
You can also get your ears pierced but I don't think having it down in a busy shop in front of everyone is the best of places.
There should be a private room where you can go but that's just my opinion.
It's always packed in this Claire's, only a small shop so can get really cramed usually on the weekends when allot of the school kids are in.
Staff usually greet you as soon as you walk in asking if you would like a basket, customer service is not to bad.

Claire's Accessories in Eldon Square Newcastle, is a very good little shop. It sells all essential Accessories, including necklaces, rings, bracelets, hats, scarfs and ties etc... all for very cheap prices. Although the qualtiy of the items in Claire's is not as good as that of Accessorize which lies just a few doors away, it is still very good for the price that you pay! They often had little offers such as 3 for 2.

Store with a great variety of costume jewellry and hair design. It also has a lots of earings and speacilies in peircings for other parts of the body. they always have a some good offers such as 3 for 2 and you can get your ears pierced here.

People put this place down a lot but its not THAT bad. Yes it is cheap and tacky but for young girls, this is all they want really. It can also be good for fancy dress. You are also able to get your ears pierced but personally I wouldn't trust the needles!

Not the greatest accessory shop in the world,
The products are cheap and nasty
The prices are ridiculous
And everything within the shop is so difficult to get access to, due to the size of the shop.

I was never really a big fan of Claires, its target market is mostly young teens and so therefore most of the products are quite tacky and quite expensive for what they are. i normally just go here, when buying things for fancy dress, you can sometimes pick up a good brgain, if only its a sale item!!

Claires accessories is getting a bit tacky. They are still hanging on to the punky goth accessories which were so 2 years ago. Its always really really cramped and is pretty expensive. The only bit i like is the hair slides but again they're still pretty expensive and id rather go to primark and get them for £1.

Although most jewellery is quite nice, I never seem to find anything exceptional that I MUST buy. Some things are well overpriced, although the earring offer of 3 for 2 is alright. You can easily spend a fortune in this store, unless you head to the reduced item part - however I bag I bought fell apart within two uses. Also the ear piercing is notorious for being a bit dodgy - I wouldnt go near it personally! I've heard too many stories of infections from people who have had their ears pierced at Claire's. Another thing is that the store is quite cramped, and when there is many people in the shop such as during sales, its very easy to get fed up of turning the earring rack round before the other person beats you to it!

Claires used to be the fashion accessory store that i would always visit when buying gifts for my sister, however the sort of stock they have in there means that once girls reach a certain age they look down on the products in Claires, much of the hats and scarves are poor quality and alot of the products sold are rather tacky whilst still commanding a big price.
