These halls of resistence are in the perfect location, right next to richardson road where the other halls are and a 15 minute walk from the university or 20 minutes into town. the halls are huge with about 1000 residents and it is catered meaning everyone has an individual room making it very easy to get lost. there aree social areas like bars, a small cinema and the dining rooms tough.

It is very easy to get lost in this building it has a number of corridors and passages. the rooms are not that bad most are the same size unless you are unfortunate enough to get a small self-catered box room. The social scene is great with 2 main bars in Havlock Hall and Eustace percy hall. The interior is not very appealing but the location is pleasing to students.

The design of the building is exceptionally dreary, with painted brick walls and scummy corridors. The place is a student halls of residence, with about 1200 people residing here. It is very easy to meet new people, and the three dining rooms cater for everybody. There are two bars, resonably priced. The social scene here is very good, as there are so many students living in the same building, it is easy to meet new people and make friends. The rooms are disproportionately sized, with some rooms being huge and others tiny - its really luck as to which room you get. This halls of residence also accomodates the disabled. Facilites are good, the bathrooms and showers. The only problem is the kitchens which do not cater for 18 people living on the same floor - there is only a mini fridge with a freezer big enough to hold only a pack of frozen peas.
