this shop is good when they have there sales on. i went in there and came out with 7carrybags full of clothes . the staff are freindly and the shop is clean and tidy. they could do with bigger size for larger ladys.the shop is open 6days a week it does get very busy in there at times and i think they should have more staff on the shop floor.

These shops are really good value for what you get, one of my mates picked up a complete suit for under 50 quid and i have to say it was a really nice suit. The staff are all really nice and easy to talk to.

great range of decent quality clothing. you can always find something that appeals to you when you visit here. this store is half n half male and female. good prices for quality of clothing with fitting rooms availoable. friendly staff. sells everything from summer clothing to suits. situated opposite clarks near marks and spencer

This branch of River Island is smaller than the new one in Southampton, but generally has the latest stock and most sizes available. It also sells both men's and women's clothing. I personally find the clothing in River Island can be rather tacky due to the fluorescent colours and their obsession with putting sequins on everything - often ruining what would be very nice clothing. However, the shoes in this shop are to die for - some of the best on the high street, and are not badly priced. The staff are always friendly and are willing to give advice if needed. Unlike other student directed shops, River Island does not offer student discount, and so I often choose to shop in places like Topshop where I can save money.

On entering the store you are always hit with a variety of colours and styles. The clothing is diverse ranging from going out wear to office wear and the menswear is equally as good. The store also boasts a shoe section and accessories section which perhaps slightly lacks variety. The staff are mostly very helpful, offering guidance as you shop.

I shopped in here today and bought some lovely clothes however, i refused to try any more clothes on after about 5 items though purely because of the size of the changing rooms. You literally only have just about a square meter to supposedly 'change' in and it's impossible; you end up collapsing out of them. I think the sizes of them are ridiculous and i can't understand how they expect someone of a big size to change in them. Apart from that the service was quite good and the store was very tidy and organised.

Theres a good selection of clothes here. They sell everything from Wallets to suits and even chocklate! Love the T-shirts, very summery and easy to wear. Also the suits fit very nicely, normally suits are not fitted well enough but these have a fantastic shape.

Mens and womans fashion retailer selling high street trends. The store is good sized and divided down the middle for mens and womans. There is a large selection of items including a shoe section which is great. Mens clothing is very good quality but the price does show in this. Accessories are endless also! Very much recommended!

Staff can sometimes be unfriendly. Very few changing rooms which are hot majority of the time, however they are always clean and tidy. The clothes are lovely, especially the dresses and is a good place to shop for a night out.

A relatively medium sized shop, which stocks clothes for both men and women. I have to say I don't really like many of the mens tee's in here as they all have a bit of glitter on them and it looks a bit poncy. They do, do good shoes though and some nice jeans. The womens section is very well stocked too, and as always the staff are polite and friendly.
