A strange little shop. You can buy a ball gown or a cardigan! The shop is too small to go in with a buggy and has so much stock it is hard to see whats what however it is generally organised in colours so I guess you could find what you want easily enough. The ball gowns are lovely and reasonably priced. There are some very tacky little clubbing numbers too! They also stock sun glasses and accessories as well as a small selection of casual clothes.

Tacky dresses

sReview_RatingImg rating on 14/09/2008 by poppy (11 reviews)

If you aspire to be like Jordan or Jodie Marsh then this shop is perfect you, if you however have any taste then don't bother. Some styles are just over priced for what they're made of and the cheaper clothes are exactly that "cheap". Some of my friends regretted getting their prom dresses from here and wished they got them in Pushka like i did. The staff in Mousetrap are friendly but thats the only good bit of feedback i'm afraid. The changing rooms are awful you have to share with other people in one communal changing room and the shop itself is so crammed with poufy tacky dresses that when there's more than 4 people in the shop it gets really uncomfortable.

THere are too many dresses crammed into one very small boutique, which is immediately a problem for many people in the shop at one time. The dresses in my opinion are too tacky, with poofy ball dresses covered in diamante sparkles and sequins in garish colours. The prices are too high for the dresses they sell, which aren't particularly special.

This boutique is not what i would call value for money. The prom dresses are bright pink, sparkly and diamante ( or some other bright colour )which i would definately say says cheap and tacky, and with prices almost as high as other stores such as Pushka, I think the prices are way too high. Also, too many poofy dresses stuffed into one small shop in my opinion.

This is a very small boutique located in chichester. They sell mainly dresses, for special occassions such as prom! Their dresses are unique and one time pieces. So you are very unlikely to run into someone wearing the same dress as you! The prices are high, but for the quality it is worth it. Very small shop with limited clothing, but definately worth a visit.

This shop is very very small so you are not likely to find a large selection of items. This store is perfect if you are looking for prom or ball dresses but the prices are very high, although the quality is very good. I bought a pair of silk gloves from here and i was very happy with them. The staff are friendly and the dresses they have are original and very pretty.

I'm really not a fan. A few years ago this shop was classy and offered some nice, unique ball gowns and dresses. Now it looks more like the dresses have come off of the back of a lorry. Lycra and diamante seem to be their favourite materials which, to me, spells t-a-c-k-y. Considering the quality of the clothes doesn't appear to be that good, the prices are pretty blooming high! It's a popular shop for prom dresses but the majority of dresses are bright pink with a full skirt and more sequins than hobbycraft.

There are some great dresses in here for prom but otherwise their stock isn't amazing. A couple of my friends have bought prom dresses and they've been lovely but there's not anything to special in the store itself.

Womens boutique. Very difficult to review as sometimes when you go in there are lots of gorgeous, very different dresses (specialises in ball dresses) that you wouldn't find in high street chains. Howevr sometimes the clothes can be verging on tacky. Quite a small shop, a little cluttered with just one open changing room. Worth a look
