Love this resaturant especially the happy hour which I often make use of! During this happy hour the tasty pizza and pasta dishes can be purchased for a very reasonable price. The restaurant itself is cosy and is currently undergoing refurbishment which I am sure will improve its interior even more.

The main attraction of Hollathan's is its very cheap happy hour deal where some pizzas and pasta dishes are only 3.50. The food is certainly appetizing however, the service can sometimes be very bad. Once the waiter asked if tagliatelli was a type of pizza and another time when I was with a group of 12 people, our orders had to be taken three time because the waiter was so incompetent. So if its a cheap meal you are looking for this is the place - but do not expect good service.

Although the food is good and nicely priced, the main reason to go here would have to be for the cocktails, of which there are many at very low prices. Great way to while away an evening over the summer, sitting outdoors.

A favourite with students, Hollathans best quality is its daytime value. Only 3.95 for any pizza or pasta in lunchtime and afternoon hours offers an unmissable lunch. Quick, efficient service also contributes to making this one of the prime spots for lunch in Durham. Chairs are comfortable and atmosphere relaxed.
