Bar Bluu, PORTSMOUTH

Bar Blu is a well known club on southsea seafront. Because of its location it is a busy hub of activity on any given night especially the weekends and is also perfect for having parties. It play's mainyl RnB hip hop style music and drinks prices are great. With great security and friendly bar staff this is a great venue for a night out. Not only for the music and the drinks but for the atmosphere.

Bar bllu is quite good, but tantrum below in very small and can get very crowded - not really a very good party venue in my opinion .. also is quite out of centre of portsmouth and although location is nice right in front of the southsea seafront but is far away from other bars and clubs in portsmouth

Bar blu used to be pretty good on a thursday night, however in the last few months interest in it has dropped. The numbers are slowly dwindling and you would be hard pressed to find enough people in there to fill one floor let alone both of them. The thai restaurant next door is affliated with it however and you can have an all you can eat buffet for £5 (students) and then get free entry into the club which is an offer worth taking up as entry into the club alone is usually in the region of £3-£4 on a thursday.

the prices to get in are very good but the drinks are a little expensive
also be careful of the main road when leaving if youve had a few to many!!

Since Time and Envy was closed in this area I think much of Bar Bluus custom has gone. The bar itself is connected to Tantrum nightclub - both offering a good experience which is sometimes a nice change to Liquid. Once was charged 7 quid for a double vodka red bull in this bar - was OUTRAGED!

Bar blue is a popular night club situated on the sea front in portsmouth it well established and has celebrity guests come and play quite often for example N dubz. the club has its own hot tub situated in vip which seems to be popular. over all i gave this club a high rating due to good priced drinks and good entertainment value well worth a try

Bar Bluu is located on the seafront, which is fairly nice however there is no atmosphere around that area, as it is very isolated. The club itself is average, it often gets very hot in tantrum due to the poor air conditioning system, and is normally half full. However Bar Bluu is the only nightclub in Portsmouth to have a jacuzzi, which is different. The only really good nights that have been held there are the ones where big name artists like Kano, Sway, N-Dubz etc, also Tim Westwood DJs there atleast once a year. The best events are one held by Blueprint, as they are always busy and offer something unique.

Bar blu has a reputation off being quite ruff but i am here to change that. i Find it is a very safe enviroment for all. If you like RnB then it is the place for you. They play the lattest RnB music and have events such as slinkie mix they are superb known via experience. In conclusion if you like RnB and you want to go out clubbing Bar bluu is the place for you.

Good place for RnB music the atmosphere is always good in here, I can never really find a place to sit though so its best on a night out when you know your going to be dancing alot.

I've been here a fair few times, the music is great but drinks can sometimes be a little pricey. Having said that, its in a good location, and is on two floors with another club (Tantrum) underneath. easy to get a taxi to and from the main clubbing district of Portsmouth. The staff are great too. would definately recommend it.

I used to work as a promotions girl here and this bar always has a good vibe about it. Although drinks are expenisve. The music is awesome and offers a variation to Liquid's commercial approach of Dj-ing, and the events are always a good laugh. Bar Bluu doesn't get busy till around 12am though, before then it is preety dead.

I am not a great fan of Bar Bluu. Its very isolated, so you dont have the choice of many clubs in the area, which is southsea seafront, and i am not a great fan of the large amounts of R&B music they play here. Certaily, when i do go, i am not looking to rush back in a hurry!

great club which plays some great music, drinks arent too exensive which all goes together to ke a fantastic night out.

This is a very nice club with great music and drink prices. They always offer a different range of events. It is in a top location and the atmosphere inside is fantascit. Recommended

This club is in a quite good location, right on the seafront, and offers very good music, and a wide selection of drinks as you would expect from a Portsmouth club.

this is a very good night club but out of the way as it down the seafront, you can always get a taxi fro here and if you dont mind a walk you can get from here in to town or back from town to here, there is a very good size dance floor which has got a stage as part of it and tv mounted all word the room the dj will play any song you recwest, the only down side is that drink chane get a bit on the high side of fings if you wont a double.

The clubs is a very nice venue, in quite an upmarket part of Portsmouth (along the seafront) it always plays good music very loudly which at times can be frustrating but normally is fine. Due to its location its very easy to pick up a taxi and head back into the centre of Portsmouth nightlife district(Guildhall walk)

This is a good club, i very rarely go there, but i do have fun when i go. I don't tend to want to go back there straight away though, there is a great clubbing atmosphere and u can alway's have a good night out with ur mate's. It is very nicely situated on southsea seafront so it is alway's nice to look along the seafront while walking home at night and it easy to get taxi's to take you home.

Nice club in Portsmouth near the sea. Two floors with three vip areas and downstears the vip area has a little bath as well where you can sit and refresh your feet. Large car park in front, during the winter you can wait for a cab even 20 minutes if you call it when the club close. After the new town regulation that want al the cubs and pubs in town is not going very well.
