it is a small blockbuster and is hard to get hold of what you want, oftern you get directed to a different store as they dont have what you require. the staff are always happy to help and will go out of there way to get what you are looking for. there are oftern sales and offeres and the pr-owned dvds are sold at a great price in great conditions.

as one of the only video rental chops i am aware of here, blockbuster is the place to go!

nessicary to have a card to rent movies so remeber this when returning to the store of if its ur first time

There is no alternative for video rental in Winchester, so Blockbuster have the market here. The store constantly blasts trailers at you, which is annoying. The staff know their films, so ask them if you want advice. Since their is nothing to compare to here, its neutral, but will offer DVDs when you need them.

An average sized blockbuster, but with a good selection of films and games. Staff are usually friendly and have been helpful when I have been in. There is a drop off box, as there is no parking so you can just drop returns in easily. There is aso popcorn and other film foods and drins sold. Costs are reasonable.

A good place to go to rent or buy dvd's(obviously). A oodrange of films and games for xbox and playstations and normally have clearences giving you a chance to grab a few bargain with new as well as old films.

Quite a small size for a typical blockbuster however they offer a wide selection of dvd's. There are many genres to choose from and there are even some foreign films on offer. There is no space to park the car or anything, but there is room for you to just leave the car and drop off your dvd. The staff are pretty friendly and are quick at sorting out your membership. There are some good offers on drinks and popcorn too, which are hard to resist.

The store has a great range of all kinds of DVDs, usefully separated into their genres. Staff are helpful and they also sell amazing ice cream! There are often offers on the films which means you can get a selection for a great price. The lack of parking space is a big problem though.

This Blockbuster is fantastic for DVDs. Me and my friends always use the 3 movies for 5 deal. It also sells DVDs and PC games. If you can't find what you want chances are the staff can direct you to it. My advice would be not to buy any food here though, as all the sweets and ice cream are rediculously overpriced.

Blockbuster is a good shop for renting out videos, but it is impossible to park out side. Other than that it is a great place the staff are helpful and friendly, definatly would recommend!

This is a good store that has a wide range of products and very helpful staff. The store is always clean and has the latest deals and offers. The staff are always on hand to help however there are somtimes not enough staff but the ones there seem enthusiastic.

There are a great selection of titles here. It is normally well orgnaised, so it is easy to find what you want, with the more unusual films allowing you to try something new. It is always difficult to avoid the delicious snacks they sell here, they are over-priced but how can you watch without popcorn?

You will always find something to watch or play from blockbuster, and then get some nice food and drink to go with it. Can be a bit pricey but usually worth every penny, especially with the Ben and Jerrys ice cream.

This is quite a big branch with a wide variety of films so you always find something to suit you. There is also a wide choice of food to enjoy with your film although this is very highly priced and it's usually better to drop into a supermarket! Staff are friendly and helpful and there's a drop in box to return your movie for convenience.

No question about it blockbusters is the best place to go to rent films and games with loads of new releases available at reasonable prices, a great selection of films makes for a really good value shop.

Blockbuster is the best place to rent films in winchester although i do think it is quite expensive just to rent one movie for a night. Good selection of films though and the best thing is that you can rent box sets for a week for a fiver.

I just find it annoying that you have to be a member to rent but it does stock a great range of DVDs and they're all of good quality. There are often lots of offers on -money wise. It's on the high street so it's very accessible. It also sells Ben and Jerry's ice cream...loveit!

First stop for any night in. Great range of films, Playstation/Xbox games, and of course sweets and popcorn placed conveniently by the counter for you to impulse buy before you leave. Easy to walk to, fairly easy by car although you have to follow the one-way system through Winchester city centre which is a nightmare during rush hour.

Relatively good prices although the food and snacks are at higher prices. Also they have a sectionb where you can buy old dvds to keep which is good.

Great for renting a film on a night in, the prices are reasonable and you can pick up all the snacks and drinks you need on the way to the till! They also sell DVDs and Games so you cna pick up the latest release for less.

this shop offers high value for money when buying new dvds. When renting dvds, the service is friendly and gives realistic due back dates. I would recommend them 10/10.

The best film rental shop in the world, cheap and the late fee's arn't that bad. I would know, I've done it enough! Cheap films to buy aswell and a few good deals.

There is an amazing range of dvds to choose from, with new releases also available to rent or buy. They stock a number of genres and also video games for ps3, ps2 etc. These are available to buy and rent. The food that they sell is good (popcorn, chocolate, drinks) but it is quite expensive. Overall though a very good place to rent a dvd for the evening.

While i haven't come into this branch too often, it's always been quite empty, meaning there are no long queues! The dvd's to rent are always new releases, with cheap older ones you can buy! Also a great range of food and drink to watch with your movie! It's really not expensive to rent a dvd or movie, so well worth a visit!

Not a large range of movies but they always have the latest ones that most people look for. I have never wanted a movie and it not being avaible because too many have been taken out, Overall its good, just nothing speical.

This is one of the only places in Winchester to go and rent DVD's. It has also got a range of games also available to borrow. It is only a small shop and the choice can be quite limiting. It is a great place to go however to pick up a film for a night in.

This shop offers a DVD and video games rental service at a low cost with a wide variety of both, It stocks all of the new released films. Blockbuster also sells a selection fo snacks such as popcorns and ice creams that are ideal for movie nights in.

Very large range on new and old dvd's availble for rent. Great store layout but with what could be described as unhelpful staff. Good prices on renting the dvd's although some of the dvd's available are not of the highest quality due to many people using them/renting them. good location of store at the bottom of the high street in Winchester.

You do have to be a member but once you are there is such a large selection of films. You can find anything really and you can also rent video games and boxsets of your favourite TV shows.

A lot of hassle to get a film out but they do offer a good range of films and never seem to be short of films or staff so would recommend it just be prepared to sign on

They've got all the big titles, but once when I went there to get a film with a friend we realised just how long winded the joining process was. They were so keen on proof of address and ID etc that they wanted us to bring back bank statements and stuff. If you forget your Blockbuster card, or want to use a parents... you need to get ahead early or it won't be so good.

this is a really great place to come it your having a sleepover or gathering with your friends. It has a large variety of films and games. It's set out really well and it also sells food such as popcorn, sweets and soft drinks.

I'm not a huge renter of games and movies, but I think this is pretty much THE place to go to do it. This is a really good shop with loads of choice and helpful staff. There are usually some pretty good offers going on to watch out for too.

Blockbuster is located at the very end of the high street and offers DvD and game rentals and purchases. Also you can get some refreshments such as drinks, popcorn and ice cream to watch a movie with. Quite an old shop and needs doing up a little i think.

Handy video shop near the centre of town! has a wide variety to chose from! however it is a little out of date now compared to other blockbuster stores! the staff are friendly though and always enjoy a chat!

There is a good, if not great range of movies in this branch. However the cost of renting is surprisingly high compared to internet equivalents (around £3 for 1 night). The staff are often quite reluctant to help in my experience, however I believe it is the only video rental shop in Winchester, and the service is fine. I would personally recommend lovefilm.com.

It's basically the main place to rent a film in winchester and has a really good range of films and some snacks aswell! The films are well sorted so its really easy to find something you want in no time at all!

Blockbuster is one of the only movie rental shops surving against the internet movie rental businesses. It allows your to choose your movie face to face and get it whenever you like! Its got a huge range of movies and a good number of each, you can also buy movies and rent games, its got a nice collection of food and drinks to go with your movie too!

Although rental movie stores are taking the hit from online movie rental, I still like going to a shop to get the real thing. This is a prime example of why - films are arranged according to genre, and I've often picked up things that looked interesting that i would have never have thought to take out before. The shop is large and spacious, and there are often 3 for 2 offers and sales of old DVDs and videos at cut-down prices. The display of popcorn, sweets and ice cream is also quite appealing...

Blockbuster has all the latest (and, indeed not-so-latest) hit films of all genres. Also sells popcorn by the ton (not literally!) and is great for getting te perfect DVD for a quiet night in with a takeaway

Very handy for a quiet night in. There is simply a tremendous selection of titles so your never stuck for choice. It also offers deals on food as well (mostly snacks) Put simply it blows away most of its competition.

If you hire a dvd hire it from here, theres a massive selection, you can buy or rent, and sometimes they have offers on for free food if you buy certain dvds. The staff are quite helpful, you need to have a membership card which you get from filling in a short form.

In 6 years of living in Winchester, this is the only place I've ever been to rent movies. Great selection and a great atmosphere inside. Situated very close to the centre of the city, just at the bottom of the high street.
