A superb restaurant on the first floor above a cafe in one of the main old cobbled squares in Ponta Delgada opposite the main church; very light and airy (so many Portuguese restaurants can be dark and gloomy, even if the food is good), plenty of space - the tables are big. Very close to the centre of town, the shops and the harbour.3 course meal for 6: 170 Euros, superb value; excellent fish soup.
