THE best place for vintage, goth, rock, unusual and definitely or gifts. This place has many floors all decorated in strange objects and has a fantastic reputation. If you come to Manchester, you simply have to give it a visit!

This place is a definate visit when you are in and around the area with a massive anmount of variety of shops you coudl probably find almost anything you are looking for. Dont be put of by the other styles that are on show that may not tickle your fansy, althoyugh the shop keepers may seem a bit strange to you dont be put off they are all very friendly and you will have a pleasant experience, with a cafe on the top floor.

Quite scary and scruffy but that's all part of the fun! can find almost anything from here, from wacky emo clothing, to peircings to it's own cafe. Worth a visit if only out of interest.

This is a definite must do when in Manchester. Its the craziest place i have ever been to shop. If you are ever in need of fancy dress there is a great shop up on one of the upper floors and its really cheap too. You can get tattoos and piercings and all sorts in this place. They also do loads of different clothes that you can't buy anywhere else.

Affleck's Palace is situated just off Market Street up the side of Debenhams. It is often described as querky and rather alternative but i think it is full of many weird and wonderful shops. From the Gothic fashions on the first floor right up to the Bead shop on the third. Some of the shops can be quite expensive but there is a large variety of items that you would not find in your ussual high street shops. It has also been recently refurbished so its looking its best at the moment!

Need some serious fancy dress? Afflecks. Looking for alternativ/emo/goth clothing? Afflecks. Looking for that cooky present for that crazy friend? Afflecks.

This is the place to find anything you wouldn't expect to see elsewhere. Anime, furniture, retro chic, make up, costumes. Its all here.

If you ever come to manchester i recommend a visit to his establishment- its a never ending maze of peircings, fancy dress, tatoos, bizzare objects and other bits and bobs. You can easily find yourself lost for hours in the place, even if you dont end up buying anything its still an experience. The woman in the fancy dress shop is really helpful in getting what you are looking for

On a visit to Manchester, this is definitely one place you must visit. It has a unique range of shops and has everything from clothes shops to a bead shop. All the shops inside are run independently and it's always nice to chat the the owners of the shops when you're in there. Top place to shop, certainly worth a look around if nothing else.

This really is such a brilliant place to go to when you are in manchester. It is crazy. Almost like an indoor market with loads of little stalls selling weird and wonderful things. They have vintage shops, bondage shop, bead shop, such an ecclectic mix, it is not to be missed!!!
The cafe at the top it cool, but has a limited range of food, but is cheap and affordable. Definatley go here!

I have never come across a place quite like this anywhere else. It has three floors full of unique querky clothing, accessories, vintage things, cards. The third floor is my favourite as all the clothes are vintage, and there are vintage home accessories.
