C & H Fabrics Ltd, WINCHESTER

I used to work there when I was 16 and I can honestly say its the friendliest shop ever. The staff know so much about all the products and they are so nice and helpful. They are currently having a refit of the front which is good as it was quite old fashioned before. They also sell stuff you cant get elsewhere such as dress making equipment. They also run a curtain making and delivery service, and they run classes out the back for craft lovers. A great shop.

I think this is another place thats great provided you have an idea, if you know what you want in the fabric department then this is the place to get it. Being set on three floors is a bit of a pain really, especially if you're in a hurry. Prices are fairly resonable and there are always scraps and bits if you're not after anything inparticular, or don't want to spend alot of money.

I didnt find the shop to be very helpful, all of the people who worked in there were very snotty and rude. The cost of the fabrics are also very over priced. The decor inside is depressing, not a very good business
