This is one of the best websites to buy music/dvds/games off I believe. I have ordered alot in the past (free Delivery) and they have always delivered it fast and effeciently. Once I had a CD with a smashed case so I told them and they reimbursed my account with 1 to cover that. Excellent service! Cheap also.

I think I have spent practically all my spare cash on this website in the past few years. This is the cheapest place to buy CDs and often DVDs and they always arrive within 3 days. If your wanting to buy a last minute present or just entertain yourself its definately the site to use. I spent alot of time ordering films this year to entertain myself at Uni without a TV. I really like the fact you can pre-order new CDs as well so you get them as sooon as they are released.

Play.com is an all round great store for entertainment products. They sell everything from electricals to clothes. There prices are more than reasonable and are generally the cheapest out of most online stores and quite definatly cheaper than high street stores.
Play.com also have regular sales and you can find some good bargins here. The other perk is that with cards like varsity card or being with RAC you get 5% discount. Also you can find discount vouchers online to make your cheap product cheaper.
There is also the play trade service which is average but i do prefer the amazon marketplace.
My major gripe with play is that they are slow with delivery (about 7 days) and they dont offer any sort of first class service. Although atleast the delivery is free.

This website seems to be good for DVDs and CDs etc, however I did buy a few items last Christmas which arrived in a less than satisfactory condition. I bought a slingshot chicken (yes sounds silly I know.... it was supposed to be) and all the stitching was coming undone on it and it hadn't even been used yet. I didnt bother sending it back because it's so much hassle but I doubt I will be buying anything similar to that from this website again.

A quality website for all things entertainment based. The prices are usually second to none, especially when the feature of free delivery on every item is factored into the equation. They seem to have every DVD you could ever want as well as every CD. An easily used website with quick delivery times and accurate delivery of ordered items. A must for any keen music or film enthusiast. I also forgot to mention its extensive video gaming section!

I have been using this website for several years now, and never had a problem where my product has arrived late or never at all. The CDs, DVDs, Games etc are all really resonably priced, with free delivery to the UK on EVERY product - no nasty suprise when you check out of high delivery charges!

Whats more they have great sales several times a year where you can pick up CDs, DVDs, Games or Books from around £2.99 or less.

The only negative point to Play.com is that when they deliver your goods, they deliver them in packaging which has Play.com printed really obviously on the front. So if you live in shared accomodation ie a block of flats, people will know you have recieved CDs, DVDs, Games or Books and may steal your package....

But on the whole a really good website where you can pick up some bargains!

I was really impressed by play.com, partly because of the prices (mostly much cheaper than you'll see in high street stores) and partly because of the speed of the service. What impressed me most however, was that when the mistakenly sent me the wrong dvd in an order, I emailed them that evening to complain, and they sent me the correct dvd within two days - without asking for any proof, or asking for the mistakenly sent dvd to be sent back (even though it was nearly twice as expensive as the dvd I had ordered!) Very impressive service, and I would highly recommend them.

Play.Com has grown and grown over the last couple of years, and is slowly starting to loosen the grip that Amazon has got over the online shopping market. They sell a really wide range of different items including, electronics, dvs, music, clothing and gadgets. The site has been made even easier to browse after its refit which was completed within the last couple of months. Everything Play.com does, it does it well, it holds a good amount of the items in stock, the site is easy to browse, the prices are good and they are posted out quickly. The Play.com sales are especially good, and seem to happen every few months, its well worth registering and letting them send you an email when they are on because there are some real bargains on their. It can be so cheap that you will often find people buying things from the sale and then immediatly listing them on Ebay afterwoods to be make a quick profit. Ons small thing to be are of is on many items they tell you a RRP and then the price they are selling it at, this RRP is often quite inflated and on most occasions you would never find that item being sold that high anywere so they do try to exagerate the deal your actually getting. This is really a minor niggle as the overall price you do pay is often very good. Another major plus witht he site is that they allow users to post reviews of items, this means you can read all these before committing to buy and make sure you know exactly what your paying for. I am yet to find any fault with the site or have any problems, from reader reviews I have read it seems that they resovolve issues vey quickly and their customer service is outstanding. Play.com is teaching the online market how it should be done.

An excellent website. If you are wanting to buy a dvd, game or cd, then play is the place to do it, there are always amazing offers on and items are always cheaper than in places like hmv. Its easy to set up an account, and it only takes a couple of days to arrive. Ive never had a problem with thier service. Watch out for the hot picks too- sometimes they take off £20 form items for a couple of days only. Worth checking up regularly in my opinion.

A good competitor with HMV.co.uk and other entertainment/ media companies. Overall, the site is easy to navigate and there are alway plenty of offers but I have only bought a few items from play.com as HMV often offers equal or better deals. It is still like this website and would not hesitate to use it again.

Play stock pretty much every DVD, CD or video game available and they sell them at low prices. They do free shipping and usually have a sale of some description on. It is very easy to find a bargain on play and i find it very hard to log on to the site and comes off without having bought something. The delivery is usually very fast but can take a few days if a product is in high demand.

An excellent website with competitvely priced cd, dvds, video games and other electronic goods. Delivery is free for most things which is very good and I have found delivery to be very fast as well. The site is easy to use and infomative. I also use the playtrade feature where you can sell your own cd, dvds etc which I think is also very good as you can make a bit of extra money.

I love this site. Its great for a massive range of things like DVD's but particularly it sells camera and photography accessories and things like memory cards very cheap.
I got a 2 GB XD memory card for about £15 and it works great, never had any problems. Another good thing it sells is TV boxsets, all the shows you can think of it has the boxsets and so much cheaper than on the highstreet. A big up side to this site is the fact it does not charge for delivery either.
The item arrives really fast too, normally only a few days after you have ordered. One problem is that it can be a hard site to navigate but i think it's just because there is so much stuff.

play.com is a great place to buy dvds books cds games etc. for good prices, generally cheaper than those in shops. the postage is free and usually only takes a couple of days. i also like the play trade section of the website where users can buy/sell second hand items for a lot cheaper than the new price, still with free delivery. the website has recently been redeveloped though and it has become a lot harder to find items as search results cannot be listed in order of price, popularity, alphabet, etc. which i dislike.

In my opinion this site is the best site to buy books, games, CDs and Dvds. Firstly the layout of the website is very useful because everything is easy to find. Secondly the prices are really great and nearly all the time everything is in stock. Postage only takes a couple days so you can get what you want really quickly.

Great website with a huge range of dvds and cd's aswell as electircal items. They do free delivery on pretty much anything so thats good. Recently I order a digital camera they unfortunetely sent me the wrong one which I has to send back at the cost of £6. They then sent me the correct one back with a £10 reimburshment for the postage I had to pay so not bad really as I only spent 6 and got 10. They are realyl helpful If they make a mistake.

Play offer an absolutely exceptional service, their prices are normally the best online and their products the most accessible. I recieved a product within 23 hours of ordering it which is almost supernatural
there website is easy to navigate and intuitive, each section is clearly divided and links to each different section is found at the top of the page.

this is an incredible website!! it is the place to go on the internet to pick up very cheap dvds and cds, it is similar to amazon in that you can buy off the actual play site or you can buy off the marketplace, the cheapest dvds are normally found on the marketplace and you can choose between whether you want old or new, but even when i have ordered old dvds the quality has been perfect, the sellers all seem very reliable, it is also free delivery on everything!!

I find Play.com is the best place to come for heavily discounted Cds and DVDs. The delivery is always free and it often takes only 24 hours to be delivered. I recently bought the series 3 dvd boxset of The Mighty Boosh and it only cost 12 pounds reduced from 22, which was the best price on the internet.

This is the place to go for DVD's and Books at cheap prices. One of the biggest advantages of this store over other stores is that it offers free delivery. I did manage to save £2 though by ordering all the gifts on Amazon and qualifying for free delivery. The site always has great competions - not that I ever win, but be careful as they tend to sign you up for the newsletter.
