The Art Centre, BEDFORD

This is a great shop and can supply virtually anything that you might need for art and craft activities, even a picture framing service. Along with this plethora of materials they also sell a wide range of greeting cards, nick-nacks and wrapping materials. My favourite range are the brightly coloured envelopes and matching writing paper sold by the sheet.There is also a small gallery at the back of the shop selling a range of paintings, sculptures and other pieces. This is a fabulous place to while away a spare half hour. In addition there are also regular demonstrations of products, from crafts to paintings.It can be a little tricky to find if you are just wandering about in the centre of town, but once you have discovered it, you'll be a regular vistor.

This is a brilliant shop for your art, craft and graphic design supplies. They stock a wide range of papers, card, mounting board, art pens etc in this spacious and well-lit shop. They also have a display of fine art and numerous pictures for sale, plus a picture framing service for your own treasured possessions. The staff are always helpful and, although it is situated away from the main shopping centre, it is only a short walk and, in addition to a limited amount of street parking, there is a multi-storey car park right next door.
