This shop is completely over-sized in my opinion, and so oversized that it is an impossible task for the staff to keep things all neat and in order. Just looking in the shop at the amount of people barging past eachother is off-putting enough, let alone queuing for up to an hour to pay or try anything on. If i was you, i would avoid this shop completely. There are far better places to be spending your time and money whilst in London, of all places!
Not only are the clothes of great quality, but also the prices keep customers in the stores for hours. Primark is known for its cheap prices yet highly fashionable look.
Although the only issue that I usually have is that by the time I enter the store, most items of clothing between the sizes of 8 - 12 have already sold out. And it's sad to say but Primark do take a while to restock as well.
Another problem is fact that the store is permanently busy; pushchairs and big bags taking up much walking space.
In other words, Primark is a decent shop, but just be prepared to shop at 9am if you want both peace and quiet, and lastly if you want your size!

possibly the biggest primark store i have ever been in!!
the cheapest shop i think there is, with a lot of nice clothes,
perfect for last minute holiday shopping that you can wear once and throw away if you have to.
LOVE IT.

who doesn't like a little bit of primark so cheap but so good for finding good clothes at affordable prices i always go there before going on lads holidays because you can find good clothes that you don't mind getting ruined or lost
Well i have to say this is probably the biggest and busiest primark that exists! I have been in there a few times but it can be really of putting because of the amount of people there that are not only looking around the shop, but are also queueing for the changing rooms and to pay! It can be a nightmare especially when you are in a rush so i recommend getting there early and avoiding peak times! I also recommend that you go with plenty of time, if you are in a rush it wil only make the experience more stressful!
This is the largest Primark store in the country and has a lot of variety compared to smaller stores in smaller cities. It has a lot to pick from for men aswell which isn't always the case in other Primarks. The shoe section is vast and there is a lot more Home products in Oxford Street Primark. The ques can be massive all day long but there is always full staff on the tills and it goes relatively fast. Sometimes it can be hard getting into a changing room as the queing time here can be long. Its easy to get to as its on the main road. It's not a good place to go if you don't like busy crowds.
This is the busiest primark Ive been to, queues for fitting rooms can stretch the whole length of the store and queues for tills arent much better however staff do manage to move the queues fairly quickly. People seem to be quite frantic and tend not to care who is in their way of that bargain, people dont tend to be very polite, but this primark has a great range of products and it is a very large store.
Setting aside the slave labour primark is one of the best women's places to shop on earth in my opinion. only here can you get a top for under a fiver and a H&M copy skirt for also under a fiver. Every shopper leaves with the same disbelief that they got so much for their money. This particular primark is MASSIVE. really really big. they have so much stock you can't go in and not buy anything. however, the size and prices create a fairly competitive atmosphere between shoppers, it's not unusual to see two girls fighting for the last size 10. queues can also get very big indeed.
Although I usually like shopping on Oxford Street and in Primark I found that after all the hype this store was a disappointment. Although there was a huge variety of stock they were out of almost all size 8-10 and the store was just as unorganised as any other primark store. The queues for both dressing rooms and paying were ridiculous and the place was too full and overcrowded. I don't enjoy shopping here and would much rather stick to a smaller but nicer store closer to home.
primark in general is great but this store is too big and is always overcrowded! There is only one set of changing rooms and so eveyone just gets changed in the store! You do find some thing but only after you've looked for hours! Not really the best location for a primark although i understand the logic
I do love to shop in Primark but on visiting this particular branch I was rather disappointed. The shop was far too big and made it difficult to find anything. Way too overated
Tooting one is by far best one so far!

Although Primark is great, the Oxford Street store is always packed, always busy and it's always hard to find what you want.
I know it's a popular place to shop, but you end up sweating so much just standing in a queue.
The staff are always grumpy and the sizes are usually different to those on the hangers.
The clothes are good, but this store is a mess.

This branch of primark is the ultimate shop. You can snap up some amazing bargains which are most popular with students searching for the perfect fancy dress etc. It will take you a fair amount of time to sort through things because some things are better quality than others.
this shop is good for picking up basics, such as plain t shirts or vest tops, but overall the quality of clothing is generally quite poor. The shop tends to be a mess, and the store is too big to manage and customers generally dont tend to care if they knock over a pile of clothing. The accessories are tacky and break quite easily. I would say its worth paying that bit more for jewellry that won't break.
One can only say one good thing about this shop, and that is that the pricea are low. However, the quality of clothign is terribly poor, and the shop, being so advenurous in its size, is reall unmanageable adn it is almost impossible to find what one is afer. Having said that the few staff there are, have alwasy been most courteous and helpful
The perfect place for a bargain - it's my one stop shop for all my holiday essentials! This store is massive and they have soooo many styles and options available - the shoe section is great! This place gets absolutely rammed though so I'd steer clear of it at the weekend unless you want to get trampled on by someone else stampeding towards that last size 12 sun dress!!
Primark is lauded across the UK as a fantastic and yet unbelievably cheap store. The shop on Oxford street is nearly always heaving with people and can be very difficult to get round when a sale is on, or at weekends. I am not a huge fan of the clothes themselves, the mens stuff seems very bland, and not very exciting. I can see why the girls love it though. Everything is cheap as chips.
Primark is great for its bargains. I got a great babydoll black coat for £8, however it is quite a stressful shop as when i went it was difficult to move, as there were so many people in the shop. The store is also a bit of a mess. You can definately get some good things. Checkout ques are long but definately quick. Everyone loves a bit of Primark!!
This shop is enormous. And inside it you could buy a lifetime's supply of wardrobe for about 200 pounds probably... It is undeniably suspicious that the clothes are so cheap and there are conflicting arguments - either other shops just hoist up their prices to get more for the middlemen or primark pulls prices down by slightly less desirable means. Not a place I regularly shop because of the ethical issues but if you need something for one occasion, fast, and cheap, this is the place to go.
primark is a good shop that offers good clothing a bargain prices. i have bought a few casual clothes from primark and there have been top quality and they were very cheap. i think primark has many types of clothing from all types of people from kids to adults and for old and young people.
Possibly one of the busiest, hectic and messy shops, definitely on Oxford St. If you go in at a weekend or a lunchtime then you are lucky to find your size or anything in the right place as everything as been moved to the other side of the shop and thrown about. However, if you are there when its empty you might be lucky. Even though there is a large amount of stock I think you are more likely to end up with something if you go to a smaller store.
Its such a huge shop but its such a mess as well. If you go in at lunchtime, its impossible to find anything in your size, as someone has thrown it over the other side of the shop! It may be cheap but its a massive effort to find anything good in this store!
absolutely ridiculous idea opening a primark on the busiest high street in london, in the first few weeks of opening it was practically impossible to even pass through the doors due to sheer amount of people in there, it has calmed down a bit now but still packed, definately avoid on a weekend because the queues are just stupid, you really need to be in the mood to shop here, yes it is cheap but then i think i would rather pay that bit more and have a far more satisfactory shopping experience
Very new Primark on the amazing Oxford Street. I had severe doubts about this store from experience it is always messy and packed, so on a scale the size of the shop in Oxford Street I thought it would be a disaster but was proved wrong! Store tidy generally, clean, and till system very efficient with a machine that has numbers that tell you when the next counter is free. Lots of stock. A little manic, but no worse than anywhere else on Oxford Street.
A truely marvelous massive store!Good for trends that are short lived, paying small amounts of money for fashionable clothes, and is also good for basics. For example plain black and white vest tops and long sleeved tops can be bought for only 2 pounds!! Good collection of underwear, with sets of bra and pants starting at only 5 pounds!
A true dream for any penny pincher or student looking for a cheap purchase to last a couple of wears. Some items are extremely bad quality while others keep theirshape and colour months after purchase.Prices are hard to believe as they are almost too cheap.Staff are always bust tidying the store so customer service is very low throughout.Dont try and return anything as you will be queing at the refund desk for hours.
Located on oxford street, this primark store is fairly large, and you'll be guaranteed to find a range of clothing, acessories and homeware for low prices. This store is very busy and is often quite messy with various items on the floor. Queus are often very large here and be prepared to wait for sometime to try things on at the fitting rooms.
This offers the same mass gathering of low priced clothes and other items like any other primark, however this one is more packed out than any other Primark i have ever been to. This leads to clothes being left on the floor and waiting times for changing rooms and check out can be lengthy. So if its low priced clothes you want then you should check this store out, however if you have a problem with large crowds, mess and no real organisation then dont.
This massive store has a prime spot on Oxford Street, and is always really really busy. Like all Primark stores, it offers a selection of womenswear, menswear, childrenswear and homeware, but in far greater quantities. Items are arranged much more neatly than in other Primark stores, but due to the volume of customers things sometimes get a little messy, and you may have to hunt around a bit to find what you're looking for. The staff are polite and helpful, but a little harrassed - this is understandable due to the amount of people in the store at any time. Queues can be long and take a while to go down, so it's advisable to try and visit the store at a less busy time.
What a Fabulously massive store. If you're gonna find the best Primark bargains they will be here in Oxford Street first. Think massive, bright and cheap, but also as all Primark stores can get messy and the best sizes go quickly on new items
this store is massive as you can probably gather from its location on oxford street!I love this shop loads and loads of fashionable clothes at ridiculously low prices! you must be prepared to hunt though, and thats the only problem, as it is so vast a lot of the clothes are just thrown to the floor and obviously not enough staff to clear up after!
Vast shop selling incredibly cheap clothes that generally dont last very long. Useful for fancy dress or for a quick fashion fix. Good for trends that are short lived but not for basics. Can be very hard to find something appealing amongst hords of cheap clothes. The smaller Primarks are probably more worthwhile as in Oxford Street you have to fight to move. Do not visit on a Saturday and Sunday as there are far too many people. Also do not consider buying anything unless its really worth it or you want lots of items as queues can be hours.
Open till 9 most days, this really is a massive Primark Store. The address alone (499-517 Oxford Street) shows the scale of the store, the opening made it into the papers the next day (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/global/main.jhtml?xml=/global/2007/04/06/nprimark06.xml)A gigantic store with lots of bargains to be had, always packed busy, it's quite hard to get around the store without stepping on some clothing that's fallen or making some fall of the railings yourself!Still, cheap as chips is the Primark way and this store does it well.
