msn messenger is fab, its a free way to kepp in contact with the people you love. also you can send instant messengers and save contacts. its really easy to use and its quite fun. you can put a picture up as your display pic.

I use to use MSN a lot and spent a lot of time on it. I don't spent as much time as I use to because there's not always things to talk about with people on your msn. It is still a great way to keep in touch with your friends and family especially high school friends and university friends.

msn is a really good way to keep up with your family and friends or to meet new ppl not just from the uk but all over tells you when some one has come on to your msn and shows when they are off line i use this every day and enjoy all the little faces you can get and send to your pals also shows when you have a new email
and you can have a convo with more that one person at a time
you can also use a web cam so you can see ppl and they can see you and if you have a mic why not have a chat

i use msn messanger everyday and think it is a teenage must have!!
i talk to freinds for free and its great.
i have had trouble a few times when loading msn but other than that i anm very satisfied.

MSN is something that most teenagers have now, and should really be spreading to the wider population soon, if it hasnnt done so already! You can add people and chat, as most people are aware, but you can also have voice and video calls, send files and play games together! Definitely not something to have open if youure trying to do homework though.

What a fantastic piece of software to instantly let you catch up with your friends and family wherever you are in the world. It is very easy to sign up and use and can be used for very many different reason, from basic type chat to video chat or talk chat of a mic.

Msn is a great way to keep in touch with old/new friends aswell as family for free!! all you have to do is get an account, and than chat away, its very simple and easy to use!!! you cab also have a webcam connected, meaning you can see the other person you are talking to, its great in general!

THE best instant messanging service around. It is free to download and join. It makes talking to people all over the world so much easier and free! We use it at work a lot as we have a lot of colleaugues all over the world and it saves the company so much money! I also use it at home as it is so simple to talk to people there and then on line. You can also video chat, voice chat and use web cams etc. I also use it for sending documents as it is quicker than emailing them. It is user friendly and totally safe to use. Would recommend using this to anyone.

Instant Messaging at its best. And this one does stand out as the best. I have tried all the other Instant Messengers and they are quite bland in comparison. I have used MSN Messenger for around 6 years now and always have it on. Even if i happen to be away from my desk i have it there just in case.

MSN is an instant messaging service. You can send a message and it arrives practically instantly on somebody elses computer. You have to be contacts to send between people so it is perfectly safe! You can have video/audio chat along with games and other features. Well worth it for free!

msn is good because you can catch up with people when you have no texts or money left in your phone... and its free. can add your own pics to msn aswell so others can see.

MSN Messenger is a great way to keep in touch with friends and family, Plus its free to use! You can have it running in the back ground whilst your doing other things then if someone comes on to chat to you it makes a noise to tell you that you have a new message. very simple and easy to use.

i love msn for keeping in touch with old friends, i find it easy to use and fun as well, i like the fact that all your friends are all in one place you can see who is online and if they are able to speak, you can hide if you dont want to speak to people, i find the prcess of adding contacts simple and easy to use. all in all a fantastic service and all for nothing, this makes it extra special and the best im i have found to date.

msn messenger is fantastic! you can add all your friends to your contact list then whenever any of your friends sign in you can speak to them through instant messages. you can also send emails through msn and leave your friends messages when they are offline. if you have a webcam you can have conversations via webcam.

I used to use msn alot but not now i have facebook lol. Its a great way to have a chat with your friends and family for free. Theres loads of emoticonc(sp) to use and you can download them too. Its a fab way to stay in touch with people.

This is great, its free to use and its a great alternative to talking on the phone. There are lots of emoticons to use. Really easy to set up and use.

MSN is great for catching up with friends and family and has been improved really well. You can change your font, colour and add pictures and backgrounds and add your own Emoticons or use the standard ones.

Has an offline feature as others have mentioned, which is very handy if you haven't got time to chat and just want to check emails or who is about.

Msn messanger has really improved over the years with updating and itsone of the best live talk interactive tools you can get. Beats all the rest. with an array of settings and functions like sending files to your friends and pitures and having multiole conversations its fantastic! it has become so popular over the years and the hard work that was put into develeoping and maintaing it has paid off with happy users.

I use it all the time. Also i use the offline feature a lot. In other versions this wasnt possible. Well,,i mean it wasnt possible to appear offline and then talk to someone. But in the latest versions that has been possible. Its nice to know that no one knows youre online,so no need to block people anymore :)

I've used msn for quite a few years, and I like how intuitive it is to use, and its "appear offline" feature, making it possible to hold a private conversation with someone. It does seem to have a number of bugs and glitches unfortunately, and I'm surprised Microsoft have yet to iron these out as they've been around a while. Luckily, it works very well the vast majority of the time so I'm prepared to overlook this. Just be prudent about who you add to your friends list and it should work very well for you.

I love msn! I only use it to talk to my good friends, and for other people I just use facebook. On msn you can have video calls, use your webcam and/or microphone. With msn plus you can get sharing folders and keep passworded chat logs! It's great for keeping in touch with people!

This was the first social utility i ever used on the internet! I chatted on msn before the invention of the phone and still use it now! It's a great way to chat fast to friends so that you can organise things or just generally chat. I love the display picture idea, i usually put up a relatively new photo and enjoy looking at others.

I have used MSN Messenger since i opened my first e-mail account. It has been a fantastic tool to keep in contact with friends through easy instant messaging and voice conversations. With other useful and fun features such as games and remote access if your friends need help with their computer.

MSN has really helped me over the years - it's an instant way of communication if out of credit and an email would take too long.
It involves fun emoticons and chat logs are abled to be stored onto the computer.

The received files folder created just for msn file transfers is of much help and webcam communication and microphone can be interesting too.
Joint chat is always good when organising a day out etc, but when too many are added, it gets crazy!

Sadly, people seem to use MSN for confrontation as it is a cowards way out of situations. That's when I stop using msn!

The best thing is the status options, it's great to appear offline as sometimes it can be irritating talking to so many people at the same time.

MSN just gets better, especially since it turned into Windows Live Messenger. Its layout is easy to use and it's very modern and stylish.

MSN is brilliant i dont think ill ever grow out of it. You can use it in nearly every country ive been to and so many people have it it makes it really easy to stay in contact with people. They have really good emotions and you can change your text. Its also linked up to my hotmail, MSN today automatically comes up when i sign in which tells me if i have any new mails and the recent news and weather. its great.

This is a really useful program as you can keep in touch with all your friends on a daily basis. Its free so you dont have to waste money on texting people to see what their plans are. Everyone is near enough on broadband now so everyone is always online, and you can send files including documents, music, videos and photos safely to your friends whilst talking to them. Highly recommended, although you could find yourself in a muddle if you have several conversations going at once, and you can quite easily lose a few hours typing away on your keyboard. Its all good fun though

I have to say this is my favourite internet programme. I use msn messenger regularly to chat with friends. As i have lived abroad for many years and met many friends who live in different countries this is a very quick and easy way to stay in contact. Its free which is a huge bonus and has many extra features like voice and video conferencing (provided you have a webcam and microphone)!

I use MSN messenger almost everyday to access my emails and keep in touch with my friends and family. Instant messaging is not as personal as webcam but avoids all the hassle of setting the camera up etc. and is free. Having said that you can now make video calls through MSN messenger as well! One of the best ways to keep touch with friends provided they have MSN too.

I hav just started using this again, as my gran bought a laptop and wants to chat to me on msn. Its very easy to use, as she has proved, she is 81 and just bought her first computer! The application works with just about any email now, but when I signed up many years ago, you had to have a hotmail address. Its great for free chatting across the world, and I often use it to talk to my boyfriend when he goes back to Holland as its too expensive to phone.
