This is a fantastic pub if you catch if at the right time - go in at the wrong time and it can be completely empty. Has great themes and people of all ages can find something to cater for their needs.

Have been here a few times and it is sometimes difficult to get a table when they dont open the upstairs area.

Menu is average price and the food is fine, not hugely exciting and i have to say thought the price for a slice of cheese to be added to my chicken burger was a bit extortinate ((1.45!!)

This themed pub is situated in a old church (I preume) on belmont street. Inside it is themed like a medieval castle, and it works very well. During the day the food is very good, albeit standard pub fare, whilst in the evening Slain's gets busier and more rowdy and fun. Well priced and enjoyable pub.

This old castle themed pub on belmont street is never too busy, the drinks are average priced but i reccommend the cocktails as they are good fun and if u manage to drink all seven you get a t-shirt! (dont order the sloth for yourself!).

Slains can only really boast amazing dcor. The gothic style of the pub is impressively done and makes a pub otherwise struggling for meritocracy worth a visit. The drink variety is limited, the cocktails are terrible sweet pre-mixed gimmicks and the food boring and of poor quality. The greatest feature of their food menu is that the breakfast comes with unlimited toast. Certainly worth a visit once to look around, but dont go twice!

Amazingly decorated pub in the heart of the city, offering spooky cocktails as well as all the usual drinks. The toilets are worth a mention, disguised as bookcases, when you open the door ghostly sound effects play out - quite a laugh when you've had a couple of drinks! Service is good, the staff are very friendly and if you order food during the day then you don't have to wait long for it. The only slight downside are the prices - definitely not the cheapest in Aberdeen compared to other student orientated pubs, but it's definitely worth popping in for a couple just for the experience!

Great pub, with a good atmosphere and excellent (though slightly expensive) food. Good range of cocktails, though slightly pricey.Toilets can be pretty difficult to find after a few of the excellent cocktails - they're disguised as bookshelves set into the wall.Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

An old renovated church situated on belmont street, made in to a spooky old castle! This eerie pub has cheap drinks deals and food offers. A visit to slains wouldn't be complete without trying the '7 deadly sins' cocktails.... gluteny, lust.... great value and great atmosphere!

You will be amazed by the decoration of this pub. There is everything what you would expect to see in a castle. Skeletons, old libraries with strange books, candles, mysterious pictures, riddles and many others. It offers nice food and good service. You will definetely enjoy that.
