I have used Holiday Watchdog when booking my last three holidays, and now wouldnt book anywhere without it! If you search for the particular resort or hotel that you are thinking of booking it will give you indepth reviews written by actual customers, and an overall rating. It can be a little unnerving if you read a bad review on somewhere you have already booked, and obviously, as its peoples opinions and experiences the reviews can vary, but I would definately recommend those who are looking to book somewhere check it out. They also have the option of adding a video to reviews, so if your lucky someone might have added a vidoe of the place you are hoping to go.

Another holiday reviewing type website, this is a very helpful and useful website to consult when thinking about booking a holiday. While you can search for a particular holiday destination or hotel, reviews are also arranged in categories, e.g. 'UK', 'Ski', 'Cruise', which is helpful too. The layout, I feel, is a bit fussier and more complicated than tripadvisor.co.uk, which I much prefer using.
