I feel almost guilty reviewing Curry's - I can't find a reason to do anything but window shop here. This isn't the case with comparable retailers - Apple Store and Richer Sounds. But you've got to add real value in terms of staff to compete in this market today.

As electrical stores go, this Curry's store is well lit and not too scary to venture into on your own. The layout of the TV section is well thought out for the potential buyer as all the screens are arranged to achieve a very good comparability view, compared to the usual neck ache you leave with from struggling to see all the options when units are sprawled out across an impossibly long wall. So this aspect of the store works very well. The products are very clearly marked up which in an electrical store is a must. So all in all not a bad store.

I dread having to go to this shop, OR the one at Digby/Rydon Lane on the edge of Exeter, although funnily enough the one in Marsh Barton isn't too bad.The staff never seem to know anything and you have to wait for ages. I recently tried to buy a digital radio in the Rydon Lane branch ..... my first and second choices were discovered to be out of stock (which took abit of doing) and then I was about to buy my third choice when a sharp eyed fellow customer (not the salesman) noticed that the bit on the end of of the arial was missing. So half an hour of faffing around wasted and no purchase made.
