A great place to buy low priced arts and crafts materials, stationary and books. Being a small shop, the range is limited but everything seems to be cheap/good value for money. I have bought some watercolors and canvases from here when I was feeling arty which were very good for the price. A great place little shop.

IF ANY STUDENTS ARE READING THIS, then listen to me loud and clear. The works is a great shop to purchase all the essential stationary items you need to see you throught the year. The prices are so low, i couldnt think of a better alternative.

A good store for purchasing bargain stationary, books and arts and crafts materials. If you are looking for the highest quality this will not be the place for you but considering the low prices it boasts, the products are surprisingly good. The staff are helpful and ques are never too long.

Great for picking up bargain stationary and other gift items such as wrapping paper and note cards. It is essentially a discount store, so stock can be limited but for the student essentials or art and craft goods at a reasonable price its well worth a look around. They also stock a range of discounted books but again the selection is limited.

This is a cheap bookshop with pretty good deals on the books they have in stock. As it's a discount shop, they don't pretend to have a full range of books-- rather, what they have is cheap, and they have a lot of it. They also have a pretty decent selection of art supplies including some canvasses, frames and paints. They may or may not be going out of business (the signs have been up for some time, with not diminished stock) but if you see something you want, buy it.Good prices.
