42's is probably one of the most popular nights out in Manchester if you're into Indie and Rock. It is always busy and you can see why since it's quite cheap and the staff are friendly. Entry is pretty cheap too and it is ideally situated for the take away across the road. Super.

I much prefer 42's to 5th Av. The music is better, the drinks are just as cheap and the crowd is a better bunch. The only disadvantage is the dancefloor, which is get on early and stay on if you don't want to dance on the fringes. A much better night out

I love 42s- the best place in Manchester. Not as commercial as 5th ave and much smaller so usually only people who actually like the music they play are there. Cheap entry, cheap drinks, great music guarantee this is always a fantastic night out.

42nd street plays alot less commericial music than 5th avenue for example- so if thats your scene- 42's is the place. Every night has cheap drinks i believe, and free entry before 10.30 for the early bird. Open till 3 on fridays too for the hardcore. Dancefloor is relatively small, and gets abit sweaty but when drinks are that cheap its all good!

One of the best indie clubs in Manchester!! Always a great night out. Its free entry before 10:30pm which is always a plus and the drinks are really cheap! Best nights in my opinion have to be Tuesdays and Fridays!

I made my first visit to 42nd street this weekend and i loved. The bouncers always check ID strictly which i guess is pretty good so theres nobody underage in the club. I thought the drinks were really well priced with dead friendly bar staff. Some of the music wasnt to my taste but it was always good to dance to and they have some big comfy sofas when our feet get sore!

It's pretty hard to dislike 42s, fairly good indie music and vibe, drinks are pretty cheap and a great take-away across the road, what more could you need!? It's definitely a fail-safe if you end up stuck on where to go out! Always find it to be a bit of an effort on the taxi front, because of the narrow road up beside it, but all in all, a good night out!

42nd street is a cheap and cheerful nightclub, which plays largely indie music. The dancefloor is somewhat spoiled by the presence of many pillars, which break it up somewhat. It is normally inhabited by students during the week, and they are normally pretty fun. Perhapos not the highest quality night out in town though.

Great club that you will always have a good night in. Really cheap drinks and great music. A favourite with students so busy in the week. Right in the centre of manchester so really good location too.

If in doubt for where to go, look up 42's, you'll always have a good night here, i do. Great drinks offers on cheeky vimto etc. Good music, the dancefloors always packed, + special fancy dress nights on bankholidays are always a laugh.
