Go Ape is a high wire adventure park essentially. It is not suitable for very young children but is great from anyone from about age 12 upwards. After a safety talk you climb various ladders and cross different types of bridges suspended between trees. There are 5 sites and it takes about 3 hours to go round. I was unconvinced at first that it would be worth the 25 it costs to go but it was one of the best experiences that I have had. The routes are difficult and challenging so you really feel that you have accomplished something at the end. However the fact that you are always harnessed in means that anyone can do it although those with a fear of heights should probably steer well clear.
I would definitely reccomend this to everyone. There are various Go Ape sites throughout the country so everyone as the opportunity to attend.
