I would rather go to this cinema any day than the odeon, yeah it is a bit of a walk but for those of you that don't mind the exercise this cinema is miles better. It is alot cheap and is really big. It also has great student deals there. The food is expensive but if you compare it to the Odeon its not that expensive.

I prefer AMC to the Odeon. It has a better selection of movies, more screens and better student deals. I also really like the fact that you can get a re-fill on your bag of popcorn...result if you get there early!

A good alternative to the odeon, this is another really big cinema with lots of screens- food is expensive but thats no surprise. Students get discounted tickets which is good. The seating is surprisingly comfy and have a generous amount of legroom which is always good, especially for longer films

This is a pretty big cinema, it has student discount so its only £4 which i think is really good. It also does some great hotdogs and sweets. The toilets are always kept really clean and the staff are really friendly.

The AMC cinema in manchester is huge! Only £4 for a student and each cinema is as big as the next so your never stuck in the little one if your going to see a crappy film! Got lots of things to entertain you if you early as well. In a nice area with bars and clubs.

This is a really good cinema, a student ticket is £4, cheaper than most cinemas I've been too. They show loads of films, and often aswell. Sex and the City was playing every hour when it came out. The seats are comfotable and spacious. The food is expensive, but you could always bring your own I guess. There is also a small arcade downstairs. I definitely prefer going here to any other cinema.

The building is massive, but never seems to get as busy as the other cinemas in the area (Printworks, Parrs Wood). The free pop corn on a wednesday with a free movie watcher card always feels like a treat, and overall prices are reasonable anyway - student tickets only come to £4.

Best cinema for the Manchester town centre - especially if you're a student as they give significant student discounts so long as you show your student card. Great selection of food and drinks to take in which swayed me although you will find that just buying popcorn will be more expensive than your actual cinema ticket. It is a comfortable cinema aswell and you can chose where to sit when you get in there, none of this seat numbering nonsense!

This cinema is great! Much better than the odeon in the printworks. Great affordable student prices and also has a great photo booth. I know that not usually why you go to the cinema! Comfortable seating tasty snacks, great place to watch the lastest film.

This cinema is one of my favourites- I might be a bit biased because my friend works here but theres such a good atmosphere and it always seems like the staff are really happy to be there and serve you! They show a good range of films, and have loads of yummy food!
