The Primark here is very like the other Primarks i've been to, but the sales here are AMAZING! I still spent a lot of money, there was too much to choose from! One of my favourite shopping experiences.

This is a good-sized Primark that is not so huge that it is overwhelming, but they have a large range of stock and some great sales on (not that you really need sales in Primark but accessories for 10p?? Yes please!!). There were long queues when I was there but they moved quickly because the staff were plentiful and efficient.

Located on the headrow, this primark is huge. They have a fantastic range of clothing for men women and children set out over 3 floors. The prices are cheap too, the only problem is that this store is forever unorganised. Items are found all over the shop, and i can never find the write size in relation to the coat hanger its on. I wouldnt reccomend coming here during the weekend either, as its hectic.

I do quite like Primark for some things. Leeds isn't that great though, it's very big, so has a lot of stuff - but it's very untidy, especially things like the shoes, it becomes very difficult to find the correct size etc. In clothes, some of the most popular sizes (10/12) disappear quite quickly, and often aren't on the shelves. However, they are good for basics (you can't beat things like 50p or £1 for a new top) and they do surprisingly nice underwear, and they're far cheaper than any of the big lingere shops. Also nice pyjamas, and some quite funky tshirts if you don't mind having the same top as several other people are wearing on a night out, it's a good place to visit.

As with most primark's this one is gigantic and stocks tonns, you could spend hours looking through all the really really well priced clothes. the quality isn't so good but if you're paying £3 for a top you don't really expect it to be and surprisingly enough this store isn't too bad on the tidyness front.

This shop is great for basics like t shirts etc and is always really cheap. The quality isn't always great however and I find the clothes i buy here only last a few months at most before they start to wear. However, i think the staff at this store are very friendly and always happy to help. The store is extremely large and has a vast selection of clothes for men women and children. The clothes are quite nice considering they are so cheap.

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with Primark - on one hand, you have the prices, which are obviously extremely cheap and great value for money - perfect for a poor student like myself. And the range of clothes they have is pretty good! They sell womens, mens and kids ranges, shoes, accessories, home wear...and more. But then, on the other hand - there's all those crowds of people, hundreds of them, where do they all come from?! Especially on a weekend, you can hardly move and it makes the shopping experience far from relaxing. And then of course, there's the quality of the clothes - it's not exactly high standard is it, and although you might have just got a skirt for £2 (bargain!), chances are it'll only last two wears, so is it really a bargain after all? And we all know (although many choose to ignore it) that the conditions the clothes are made in leave a lot to be desired with most of people getting hugely unfair wages.

So in reality, how good is Primark really? Re-reading my review, there's actually a lot more bad points than I'd realised, far more than good points. Maybe it's time to put down that £3 pair of jeans and turn to somewhere a little nicer....

I love Primark! Great place for cheap clothes, making it perfect for students and is often used for finding fancy dress items. The only downside is that its particularly busy on weekends and it get quite overcrowded, with massive queues for both changing rooms and tills. I would advise going midweek to avoid the crowds. Other than that you can't beat Primark for great value shopping.

Well obviously, the prices are low in this shop! Its a massive too, and has such a wide range of stuff in it, womens and mens clothes, kids, accessories, bags and scarfs and sunglasses, they have lots of seasonal stuff in too, so like woolen knitwear in winter and sarongs and bikini's in summer. And they also sell shoes, lots, and lots of very cheap pumps and stuff. However, the staff are less than friendly, and its often so busy and packed that it becomes quite a stressful shopping experience, the queues at the tills are also massive. It also gets really messy, people just throw the clothes about everywhere. Go as soon as it opens in the morning if you want a stressfree shopping expereience, and also, they run out of the small sizes quickly, so get in there if you see something you like!

Primark is one of the most popuar shops with students. Not only because of its really cheap prices but beacuse they have some great items of clothing tht can be worn as fancy dress. When primark first opened they were a little slow at establishing the current fashion trends, but a couple of years down the line and everyone including myself is mad for pirmark. The only thing i dislike about the shop is that it is usual very untidy and difficult to walk on the floor due to all the clothing that has been knocked over.

Primark is great, and when you know the best times to go it is perfect! You can get loads of things such as tops, accessories, bags, sunglasses and is great for underwear and summer stuff that you want last minute for your holiday. It is very busy on a Saturday so dont go in then! But if you are in town early on a monday have a look as they often get stock in then.

I love Primark and couldn't live without it. Having been to Primarks all over the country, I'd say Leeds is probably the best - it's usually quite well organised and the clothes are generally of a higher standard - particulary the upstairs Bikini and underwear sections - although never go on a Saturday as it can get so so busy and queues for fitting rooms are huge. Great for a bargain, for accessories and umbrellas, and for dressing up items, as it's so cheap - we're talking £3 a top!

Primark in leeds is great IF (and thats a big if) you go on a week day, in the morning. Try a saturday afternoon and you'll wish you'd never been born. Its pure hell. Its a great store though, but you must go regularly in order to get the good stuff. primani (as we've taken to call it) is the shop we know we should hate, but just can't get enough of!

NEVER go on a Saturdya because it can be so stressful that you'll inevitably regret it. But on most other days then it is definitely worth a visit for a quick bargain and some copy-cat designeresque clothes.

definitly wouldnt recomment this shop! there are always loads of staff around but the never seem to be doing much. There are always clothes everywhere, all over the floor and just piles of odd garments on tables. This just completely puts me off as i can never be bothered to start looking, nothing is in size order or even sectioned by the same kind of clothes, its like a massive jumble sale! always very busy and just too packed to start looking. although the clothes are cheap i have never purchased anything in here and i have heard they are not the best quality either

Like all other primarks, the store in Leeds is just as messy and untidy as all the rest. However, despite the shop been messy, its great for picking up a bargain, with clothing as little as £2. Always keeping up to fashion, Primark is great for creating and designing your own unique style. Been a university student, it is also great for fancy dress costumes.

This primark is like every other primark also. It is very messy and is also very disorganised. It is very often that you will see clothes scatered all over the floor, or all scattered over the wrong part's of the store. The staff are not helpful and are not very useful at all in the slightest.

Massive primark store in the centre of Leeds. While its good for picking up some cheap clothes, and also the home section is quite good if you've just moved into a house, its usually very busy. This can make it a hectic and unpleasant experience. I feel for the staff, the place is impossible to keep tidy. As soon as you neatly fold a table of stuff a load of crazed bargain hunters come along and throw it all everywhere. Not the most civilized shopping experience it has to be said. I agree about the quality of the clothes being poor too, i recently bought some very nice black combats. After the first wash they had become army camouflage combats and the rest of the wash had become a lovely grey colour. So clearly they take batches of clothes they can't sell and just die them (badly) another colour

Primark is a huge store with plenty of cheap clothes that can pass as if they are expensive. But there must be a reason why they are cheap. I have heard primark pay people in third world countries a small lump of money to make thier clothes. This has put me off Primark as I used to shop there. They have done well for themselves but also the quality of the clothes means I can wear it for a year max. All my clothes have shrunk and what used to be my baggy combats has turned into 3/4s.

Primark in Leeds is HUGE. A very well laid out store which is kept relatively neat and tidy for such a large place with so many people browsing. Very cheap clothing - some items better than others - but there is something for everyone in this shop. Very good for snagging a bargin or finding basic bit of fancy dress costumes maybe.

This is an amazing shop for good bargains and a place where u could probably find the same thing that is in topshop for about a quarter of the price. It does involve some good rooting through stuff as the shop does get very messy and disorganized and many of the small sizes go fast, but if you have the time then its worth having a browse.

Everyone knows what Primark is.
Its cheap.
It usually has massive queues.
It provides the clothes for most of your friends.
And yes...its absolutely brilliant.
The Leeds branch has friendly staff, compared to others i've been in, and the store is usually tidy!
Great.

This is a large Primark set out over three floors, it has a homewares, shoes, kids, ladies and mens clothes, as well as acessories. If your after a bargain then you are sure to find one here! The products arent all that great quality but most shoppers are aware of that for the price that they are paying. They have lots of good highstreet copies and are good for fitting out fast growing toddlers!

This shop is really good! It is one of the larger ones, and provides a huge selection of the latest fashions. The prices simply cannot be beaten - you can get a pair of jeans for example for just £8! This shop also sells menswear, childrensware and homeware, so there really is something for everyone!

My personal idea of hell- hundreds upon hundreds of shoppers hoarding t shirts for 50p and underwear for even less. If you are stupid enough to go in there on a Saturday don't expect to get out of there until Sunday. However, this is perhaps a little unfair as Primark is traditionally good for girls clothes and poor for boys clothes. My girlfriend for instance loves the cheapness of clothes that she needs, simple tops and skirts are good examples of this- I'd be annoyed however, if she dressed head to toe in clothes from this store.

My favourite shop!! yes the clothes are cheap, mass produced and not particularly good quality, but when you come in here you know what your getting. Spending just 20 pounds could avily spruce up a tired looking wardrobe, and all the clothes are copy cat reproductions of the main designers, which sell their clothes at 10 times the price. Great place to come and get underwear, with the cheapest sets of bra and pants just 5 pounds! This store never has pqrticularly bad queues compared to Manchester and London. The only bad thing is that your only allowed to take 5 items into the fitting room, when you have hundreds of items in your basket!!

I do feel so sorry for the poor staff who have to deal with this untidy store full of busy people who don't bother to put things back (unfortunately, I admit, I am one of these people, sorry.) However, they are so friendly and do their job well. So much choice and selection, at bargain prices. Underwear is especially cheap, especially compared to competitors like La Senza. Till queues really organised and vast moving. Great great store, often find something amazing, but only problem is that because of the price, there will always be someone else wearing it!!

Massive primark on the end of briggate doing almost certainly unethically sourced clothes by the truck load. Girls tell me how great primark is but i'm yet to see it for men's clothes. Sizes are generally massive and nothing really looks like its made for wearing. Great for underwear though!

This is the place for cheap clothes if you don't mind having to buy new stuff over and over again. Or, if you need clothes for anything else than wearing frequently, ie Otley Run gear (so that you don't bother that much about your clothes if you start rolling on the pavement), dressing your novelty human-sized inflatable dolls, cheap rags, etc etc etc.

primark is every girls essential place to visit for an outfit for under £10!! primark is poor quality but incredibly cheap and thats why its loved, the shop is huge, the underwear department is worth visiting because some of the underwear looks quite expensive! the staff are unhelpful which means you often spend hours wandering around, you really can pick up some fantastic bargains and even if the clothes break the next day you have had one wear out of them!

You can find very cheap clothes in Primark but sometimes i go for shopping there and end up with nothing. Exactly, the queue is huge on saturday and we can not try a lot of clothes. I dont think it very tidy sometimes, clothes are all over the place but I still buy some clothes from them when they have what I want. Last time I bought a white shirt for £2.50 which I needed to wear for a meeting. I dont think we can get a shirt for this price anywhere. I mean it's good in a way because it's really different from others shops in price but you can not go shopping every week , It's quite tiring as well when you have lots of people shopping there.

I used to love Primark, but I've stopped shopping there as you really do get what you pay for. A number of items of clothing that I have bought from there have fallen apart within a year, and I'd rather pay a little more for better quality. I also don't like the fact that they insist you take one of their plastic bags if you buy anything, even a hair clip. If you want to replace your wardrobe every six months they're great, but I was very dissapointed when a shirt that I loved developed holes all over it for no reason after only one season.

Mens, womens and kids clothing, and home department. HUGE store. So much selection. Lots of sizes- ranges up to about an 18. Lots of accessories also- jewellery, handbags. Always packed, but queue moves quickly. Only problem feels like a bit of a jumble sale on peak times, but as the store is huge this is understandable. Feel sorry for the staff!! Very, very cheap, and quality is good considering! Great for Christmas shopping.

3 floors of heaven or hell?As noted by many people dont bother entering the store on a saturday! the queue for the changing room last saturday was unbelieveable and then you can only take 3 items in at a time! After that if you do decide to buy something the queue for the tills snakes around many times. The store in general is okay and i have seen worse primark stores! what is really annoying is the footwear deparment is on the top floor! This is an absoloute state, and finding the matching pair to a shoe can sometimes be a challenge!

This store is defintely busy a lot of the time. You can find some bargains but you need to be prepared to fight your way to the rails. It can also be a bit annoying that they don't let you take jackets in to the changing rooms to try on as there is often no chance of getting anywhere near a mirror. There are definitely a lot of positives that range from the many accessories that start from 50p and the huge selection of tops that range from £4 to £8.I would definitely say a place to avoid if you are in a rush but if you have some time to dedicate yourself to the task then you can find some true treasures. I would also say beware of some long queues if you want to try anything on.

Urgh, really don't like this place.Whoever said that it's like a jumble sale is spot on. Stuff is all over the shop and impossible to find what you came in for.On a Saturday you can barely move without fallig foul of an obnoxious single mum in a rush. I feel sorry for the staff, who somehow keep their spirits up and offer friendly service.

looks like it has been looted, and there is stuff all over the place, getting steadiy more expensive, and you have to check the size on the hanger is the size of the item (many fun incidents with that being wrong) still reasonabally priced everyday clothing

I definitely agree with Mizzy: I'd say that any Saturday shopping in the Leeds City Centre is hectic and crazy though.Primark offers some great finds in the sale bit in the back as well, but you have to hunt around for them through a lot of slightly tacky stuff. I recently got a plain black tube top in the midst of the sale racks for £1! I don't think you can really ask for anything cheaper than that! They also have well organised fashion in the rest of the store for a bit more, but I think the sale racks are the best bit.
