Ive been using hotmail for many many years. Its my favourite email provider. Ive never had any problem with them and I love the look of it.
I have had a Hotmail account for around 5 years now and have always found it very satisfactory. It is easy to register, easy to use and has alot of space for a free service. Sometimes Emails can take a while getting to you but it has never bothered me too much. I have tried other email providers and have found them much more confusing so I am sticking with Hotmail!
Hotmail is one of the most popular providers of free email. The process of registering is straightforward. You get a fairly hefty 5GB of storage which is excellent and is far more than most people will ever need.
I have found that some emails are slow to arrive (hours and hours after other providers) which can be frustrating when you need something instantly. Another niggle is that uploading more than one file (for attachments) is a pain, as you have to upload each one individually.
However, I've had my hotmail account since 2001 so it can't be that annoying or I would have bothered to change all my accounts to Gmail!

Have had a hotmail account since 2003, and I have never needed anything else since. I think the feature that sets it apart is the level of spam filtering they use; I only get spam forwarded from my university account, despite the fact that I always use my hotmail address to sign up for any service that could potentially send spam. Emails always arrive and are sent promptly with a minimum of fuss.
I've used my hotmail account for the last 4-5 years now, which I believe to be a good testament to the quality of the site. It's easy to sign up and very quick and then easy to use when you have joined. The format is easy to use and I never seem to have a problem with the servers being down or slow connection or anything like that. The only disadvantage for me is that the spam protection doesn't seem to be very good - even after marking certain emails as spam, they carried on sending emails from those sites to my inbox rather than junk.
Overall a very good service.
Overall a very good service.
The best free, web based email out there. Easy to use and well known and recognised. You can pay for extra storage space on your account, but quite frankly the free account is all that you'll need. Used with windows live, hotmail can be a great addition to your desktop.
Hotmail is great for emailing! You get loads of storage, and the junk filter is pretty good! The hotmail homepage is also good for keeping up with current news affairs. If you have a hotmail account you can get msn instant messanger too, using your hotmail email address to log in. definately worth getting!
This internet service provides alot for many. It allows for a free email account with reasonable amount of space for messages. It also allows for instant messaging through msn, It also provides a good news feed service with links for all headlines on current affairs, competitions and celebrity gossip.
Everyone who has an e-mail address will or at some point had a hotmail account. It's easy to set up and use. It has a reasonable filter for junk mail, although I still get a couple that slip past it. I don't think you could ever run out of space with more than 5gb storage. Hotmail caters for languages all over the world so you can have a .jp (if you can read Japanese that is). Having a free simple to use e-mail address with access to it anywhere, there's not much that I can say is bad about it.
I only have one email address and it is with hotmail! can't complain... i get all my mail, and all my junk mail gets sent to the junk box. i wish it was easier to upload a larger amount of photos all in one go though.
Hotmail is the best email account. Not only because of its stylish layouts but it is also very organised and to the point.
I have a few hotmail accounts; mainly social or work reasons. What has helped me the most is the way you can organise emails to move instantly go a certain folder, which means that newsletters that you have subscribed to don't clog up your emails.
Another thing about hotmail is that junkmail is on the decrease as hotmail can detect it quicker and automatically deletes it.
Lastly, the storage is great as the size increases after a certain amount of time - which helps when you need to stop important emails.
I'll never stop using hotmail - it really is useful!

Most of my friends use hotmail and so its the best for me because its the easiest way to contact all the people i know. The storage space is okay but on the standard hotmail account its not massive. I think its easy to add attatchments to emails which i like also.
I'm not a big fan of hotmail, simply because they've added too much to it - all this windows live stuff... 'see a clip of BBs Luke letting rip about a fellow housemate' etc. I don't want that, I just want emails! I don't really use it much anymore, I much prefer my university server (webmail) and gmail, neither of which are as cluttered up with all that stuff. I also don't find the junk mail filter very satisfactory, it doesn't seem to catch a lot of stuff, and sends stuff that I do want into the junk folder!
One of the best known and used email system around. Its really simple to set up and use- even my mother managed to do it and she doesnt really know how to use computers. Hotmail is really good with dealing with junk emails too- you can change your settings if you find you are getting lots of junk, so that only your contacts go to your main folder. Its worth checking your junk every now and again to makes sure you dont miss important emails that have gone to your junk. Overall a really good service, one which ive used for quite some time and have found no problems with.
One of the best and most-used internet based email applications available. It can be accessed from any computer in the world as long as it has an internet connection, this is especially good for keepingin contact with people whilst on holiday. It gives you your own email address (that you can choose) ending in @hotmail.co.uk and also gives you access to MSN messenger which, after AIM is the most popular instant messaging programs available.
I've had a hotmail account for years and I have never had any problems. It filters junk emails and allows you to hold a massive amount of emails. The layout is simple but effective, making it accessible and easy to use for people of all ages. In addition its free! what more could you ask?
A great website. I have used this as my email account for a long time and it is still going strong and i still have my full confidents with it to hold my important emails. It has not failed me yet. I would recommend it for these reasons, it is trustworthy and has been for more than 4 years now.
hotmail is a good business as it lets you communicate with your friends, family and work all rolled into one. It is a quick and efficient way of getting a message across from one perosn to another, with no complications. I have never experienced any problems with hotmail and i have had it for about 7 years now, i would reccomend hotmail do anyone who hasnt already got it.
I have used hotmail.com for my e-mails for years, as its so simple. The layout of the site is such that anyone could set up an address without any worry. Another good reason to use this site is that while other sites are now charging for you to have more space in your inbox, hotmail have upgraded everybodys inbox to 5GB storage for no cost.
I have been on hotmail for years. It is a really good email site it has large space so you can keep loads of emails and it divides your junk mail off into another folder. The layout is really good and its easy to use and its easy to add attatchments too.
Hotmail is a good mailing service as it is so simple to use. It is also compatible with Live messenger which is another big addition and is very popular with students. The layout of the mailing is also very well layed out.
A free and reliabe web based email account is essential today, and who better to provide it than hotmail.com? Its important to keep on top of incoming emails so your folders don't get too overloaded, and it may be wise to open a new account for important mail. Still, this is easy to do, with tools to transfer contacts and important meesages. Very good service, and easy to access.
I use my hotmail email account every day to keep in touch with friend and family. It is completely free to set up an account and it is so easy to use. They have great spam filters on the account so you dont have to worry about getting a load of junk email.
I find hotmail to be much easier to use than something like Windows Outlook Express. It is incredibly fast and inbox storage is vast. Recommended.
Msn hotmail is great for email accounts- whether you use them for business or pleasure. It is a simple way to read and send emails from any computer. The best thing is you can have as many accounts as you want.
I've had my hotmail account through using MSN Messenger for quite a few years now, but I don't use it very much. It's fairly convienient as you can just click a button to get to it if you use MSN already, but it has some pitfalls. For example you can't send large attatchments and some attatchments get blocked as security issues. You do get a large amount of space for emails and it is free so I can't complain too much!
Hotmail email accounts are easy to use, have laods of storage and are free. They are secure with a password and login email address and I have always had one, and had no problems.
I've used several email websites, and this is by far the best. It's easy to use, and you get loads of virtual memory to store your emails and contacts in. You can attach files and pictures to your emails with a simple attaching tool. If you want you can download MSN and chat to your friends online.
the only email account i use. i wouldnt even know of any others. i use it all the time to get emails and to send. easy to use work and access. good with msn. great email account. also can play games, search the web. use for almost anything
I use it all the time. It is probably the best email internet site on the planet. It is really easy to set up and really easy to use & works on conjuction to your msn messenger account. Great emailing system.
Hotmail is one of the best web-based email systems around, it's completely free to sign up and if it hasn't already been taken you can use any name you want. There is lots of storage and other features like spam filter, which works ok although i do still get some spam through.
I have used HOTMAIL ever since I set up my first email address at the age of 10 and am still using it to this very day.
One of the best things about it is that it is free unlike some email accoutns at the moment.
You are also able to keep loads of emails without space filling up too quickly so you don't spend your whole time deleting emails.
great service.

great service.
this is a cracking website for email facilities. You get a large amount of storage when you sigen up and the best thing is that it is totally free. The inbox and all other options are labelled clearly and it is easy as pie to navigate around. A cracking little website.
Hotmail.com is definitely one of the best web email systems out there. The interface is easy to use and there is plenty of allocated space. The support is good if you have a problem and there is rarely any down-time. Having said this, in terms of sophistication and space, g-mail is my prefered client. Nevertheless, hotmail remains as a good service.
Hotmail is a great e-mailing site, it is easy to create your own account and even for people who are not use to working with computers it is fairly easy to send e-mails. You can create your own list of contacts, folders for different e-mails and you can even create your own online messaging, msn account. Recommended.
The best free online email service with a very large 1Gb capacity to hold or your important emails. Very easy to sign up to and also easy to use. Folders can easily be made to arrange your emails in what ever order you wish
Although I use this as one of main e-mail accounts, I have several problems with it. Despite being completely free, easy to set up and with a generous mailbox allowance, this site is often very slow at peak times and the junk e-mail filters aren't nearly up to scratch.
I've been using Hotmail for over ten years now and never had a problem with it, any advnaces have always been for the best and now there is something crazy like 5GB of disk space. It works well along with MSN etc and has an easy and simple to use layout.
Hotmail is a good website where you can check your email by signing in to your account or you can download msn messenger. Good website and you can see news on the site also.
A good webiste for keeping in touch, its free, easy to use and you can access it any where in the world. hotmail has imprpved lots. i also like the fact that you can use windows live messenger along with it.
I must say that hotmail has got better with time and i would now consider signing up for an address with it again. Looks to be more friendly and also looks to be a bit more secure than it has been in the past. you know the saying Things can only get better.
Have to say that i've always used hotmail and never had any problem with it. I like the fact you can use this account with windows live messenger, a good way to keep in touch with friends and family.
Secure, can access from anywhere in the world, spam filters are good! and FREE! Due to the inful of .com email address, they have now realeased country specific ones. eg .co.uk or .fr
This website used to be really good for contacts and keeping in touch. Now the junk mail folder doesn't work and I get so much junk e-mails that I just get fruistrated and have to leave it be.
Hotmail used to be pretty standard and a good way to have an email account easily accessible from any computer. However the amount of junk mail I get is really high and I find it irritating wading through it. I have recently got a gmail account and as of yet haven't experienced any junk mail.
I always used to use hotmail as my main email account, but now i have abonded the account. I found that i was recieving waaay to much rubbish and after only a few days of not checking my mail, i would have to sift through pages and pages of junk mail. I have got tired and bored of having to do this and dont know how to stop it, so have just let it all build up and mainly use my uni account now.
I have had a hotmail account for the best part of ten years and it has alway been really accessible with loads of storage. I can't complain, this free service has kept me in touch wherever I may have been in the world, it is part of the MSN group which has an interesting news homepage and links to instant messenger.
I used to use Hotmail frequently but found that the amount of spam was so high that it didnt warrant using it. By the time that I had checked to see which emails were important I didnt have time to read the ones that were worth reading. However, it is a unique service that means you can keep an email account no matter where you go to in life and how many jobs you change.
Good service have had an account for several years and never had any problems with it. It is a quality free online email with enoughl storage space for the average person and has good anti spam software
Quality free online email which gives you several GB's of storage space and has good anti spam software
The best free email service on the internet and probably the oldest. Always upgrading with the addition of the windows live feature. Alot of email space available and easy filing and composing techniques available to make communicating on the internet swift and easy
A very popular web e-mail hoster and it offers a realy easy to set up and use service with plenty of storage space for those e-mails. Registering with hotmail also alows you to access MSN Messenger and hotmail.com also has a news and weather section so its an ideal home page!
Great idea to have a web-based email, though I don't know if Hotmail pioneered this. It's really easy to log in from any computer with internet access. The email service comes with a useful spam filter which puts anything that looks like spam into your 'junk' email box. It's free to set up and you can choose your own address.
Free email hosting site. You can store so much on here. Having an account with them also allows you to use msn messenger instant chat. It also gives you daily news and weather updates.
This gives you a lot of storage space - up to 5MB for free, and is great as it can be used with MSN messenger. Its pretty simple to use and easy to get to grips with. It is now known as Windows Live Mail but its basically the same thing!
Hotmail gives you lots of storage space for your emails giving you upto 5Gb. Its easy to use and the layout is very simple. The annoying thing is that if you dont log in for a certain period of time it deletes your account and all of your emails.
quite good...but has had quite alot of problems with it...hmm i guess its not so bad..the new live mail is quite confusing even though isnt meant to be!...it is definetely the most used webmail service but there are so many more out now...so kind of have become competitive with hotmail...but main reason why hotmail is so popular is because of msn mainly...hate it when the services go down though...proper slow down the computer...and when it takes ages for msn to log in...other than that...does have advantages too!
A great mailing service, probably the most popular amongst students etc because of the compatability with MSN messenger. Hotmail, (now known more commonly as Windows Live Mail) allows up to 5Gb of storage with the flexibility of creating different folders...and setting up a junk folder for certain unwelcome emails to go straight into!
The most well-known and best loved email system run by Microsoft. The majority of people use Hotmail as their primary social email account and it's the safest around! Microsoft recently introduced Live Hotmail which is a new and improved service with better security and a larger storage space at 5 gigabytes! And it's all free!!!!!
