God, i didnt ever think id be drinking in a place like this. The decor is dated, the atmosphere is none exsistent, and their isnt muxh choice of seating either. However, drinks prices are so cheap thats what makes it appealing to the people that drink in here. Personally id advise you to stay clear of this place.

Its definetly old!!! Seems like its had the same decor as 20years ago. Its not the most exciting bar and i wouldnt recommend it unless you were going for a night out in the union or wanted a cheap drink.

This is the kind of students union that your dad drank in, its dark, its dingy but its cheap and its traditional. Seems to be a lot of space but not that many places to sit, although this is good for the football on the big screen. Offers quick and easy food during the day to go with that lunchtime pint but if its nightime you would more likely find me in the Terrace.

The old bar, what can i say, its exactly like its title OLD. The atmosphere is dark and dull, not very attractive at all. As stated although the prices of drinks are chep, it still doesnt win my vote.

This is a good bar for stating your night at especially if your going to a club in the union.

Dark, smelly, dingey, I really would rather not drink in the Old Bar! It may be trying to re-create the traditional pub atmosphere but it's not a success - and the prices, although cheap, are not enough to persuade me to this rather depressing student haunt.

Why would you make a pub seem like it's for old men when everybody knows it's just going to be for students?!?!?! It's dark, it smells and it's not even that cheap. The big screen is quite a draw for sports fans though, and there are lots of seats.

I don't like the old bar :( there are no windows, and as it is done up like an old-man pub, its very very dark and i find it rather depressing. the drinks are cheap but this doesn't make up for the feeling of darkness that engulfs those who attend. its very quiet in the day and just not cheery enough for celebratory post-exam drinks!

Made to feel like a traditional pub, it provides a welcome escape from the sometimes overcrowded terrace bar. Great selection of ales and largers, and great for watching sports on its big screen.

This pub has a great traditional feel in the heart of the students union in leeds. With very reasonale prices and a warm atmosphere this a perfect place to spend the student loan.
