I think this is a really great place for students and they put on some really good nights. the drinks are averagely priced and its a really massive venue. The only thing that puts me off is that its in a church thats been reinvented into the nightclub... just doesnt seem right somehow!

Halo is not my favourite club in leeds but its an ok night out. The music is mainstream and drinks are an ok price. The setting in a church is a bit of a novelty which i quite like but might not appeal to everyone. It can be expensive to get in but thats normal for a leeds nightclub. Its a bit of town which can be akwkard but a few buses do run past.

I've been here twice and had a horrible time both times. The bouncers let in far too many people than they should and therefore the club allows in far too many people than its actual capacity. This means that the bar is always jam packed and the dancefloor is cramped with hardly any room at all to dance. Me and my friends vowed never to go back again but we did on a Saturday and the same happened again. Try it out to see if you like it.

Personally I had a great time at this place when I visited the ity with friends from the area. The music and atmosphere were vey enjoyable, the fact that the club is set in an old church is a little bit strange, but once you get inside you forget that fact. A little bit out of the way from anything else, so expect a taxi fare, but worth a visit in my opinion.

The fact that Halo is in an old church, is a bit of a novelty, but it isn't that great as a nightclub. Firstly it's quite out of the way - so if you're drinking at one of the bars in the city centre, it is a long walk. Secondly, the drinks are quite pricey, and the queues are often very long. The music is ok, but repetitive. Generally one to miss (although quite a good place to point out to visitors, if you're taking any round the city!)

I enjoyed this place alot, id heard good things about it- and it had a good range of music, although entry price was a little expensive i felt it was worth it. Lets hope Jesus doesnt return and start tipping tables over seeing its a converted church. Could get abit messy

This fantastic nightclub, formerly a church, has a reputation as one of the best students nights in Leeds. Having just won the rights to host an E4 Skins party, it will surely attract many more people in the coming months. The atmosphere is truly electric once inside, and the young crowd and great music makes this place truly unforgettable. Entry price is around £6 per person, so is slightly more expensive than some other student nights, but inside more than makes up for it. Halo plays mainstream dance and hardcore music, and gets very busy and queuing to get inside can be up to an hour on a Friday and Saturday night.

I used to like Halo but after been there a few too many times it has lost its appeal for me and I dread my friends suggesting that we go there. It is always busy and has a good atmosphere but they play the same music every week and it takes forever to get served their overpriced drinks. Certainly not worth the walk out of town in my opinion.

Halo is one of the biggest and most popular clubs in Leeds. It plays all the normal chart and dance music you'd expect to find in a club and has a variety of themed nights and promotions. The prices are resonable for a major club and it's only £4/5 in on a weekend - much cheaper than some! The building itself is an old converted church giving it a very exiting atmosphere which is always popular with students and young people. The only downside is that it's a little way from the main bar area in Leeds, only a 10 minute walk but when you're drunk and in high heels it can be a bit tricky! Having said that though, it's a great club and well worth a visit if you've never been before - although don't over do it because i think the music can get a little repetitive sometimes.
