I'd prefer an ASDA or Morrisons to be honest.
The offers are pretty rubbish, the products, limited and the overall feel of the place isnt that great.
Cheeky-ly quite expensive.

I get quite annoyed that there is only a Somerfield in Headingly. When you shop in there week after week the choice of food it offers becomes very dull and very expensive compared to Tescos and Asda. The queues are always massive, but the staff are friendly and always help you pack your bags. To cut down on costs i would recommend going to the fruit and veg shop down the road, and have a big monthly shop in cheap as chips Asda in Adel!

Very expensive in my view and although the produce is often of good quality, I find it too expensive to shop here on a regular basis, the queues can often be ridiculous as well- and I am not a fan of queing!

The reviewer below is spot on.All new students do come here, but they shouldn't. The older, wiser student goes to ASDA to avoid the high prices, huge queues and poor selection on offer here.Useful location for a bite to eat, but not for a big food shop.

all students find this one first; move on its rubbish. expensive, when there are other supermarkets a bus ride away, its depressing and always looks like it has been looted. not quite big enough to do a full weeks shop, but wants to try and provide this service.
