Greggs is a great little pastry shop which you can get hot food for probably the cheapest price in manchester. The service is usually very friendly and smily and the food always (or nearly always) tastes freshly made) they serve sandwiches, pastys, pies, sweet things like doughnuts etc. and drinks and crisps. Most things are under a pound I think actually all are apart from sandwiches.

Decent sized Greggs on Oxford Road, which endeared itself to me over the (many) other Greggs in the near vicinity through its staff who (by accident or design) consistently undercharge me or give me free cakes! So far they have given me lemon muffins, chocolate shortcakes, cups of coffee and even once a bacon sandwich for free - brilliant!

I think that with Greggs generally being the cheapest of the chain bakeries you can definately tell in the food, its generally all pastry and not particularly tasty. It also gets ridiculously busy at lunch. Go to Sayers 4 doors further up Oxford Road.

I'm not a fan of Greggs. The lunch time rush makes service impossible, the line is always out the door. But based on the few times i have bought food there, i can't understand why? The pasties are dry and not enough filling. They left my mouth all stuck together like glue. I have never bought a sandwich there, as i can't see why i would spend nearly £4 on what is on offer. I'm sure they're really nice but they won't fill me up. I'm a sayers man through and through!

Now you cant really knock greggs can you? unless you are a pastry hating, cake detesting freakazoid!
I cannot reccommend it highly enough really. I say have a much on the chicken and bacon club baggette.

If pasties and cakes and pies, and the like, are flavours that you enjoy then I would recomend Greggs the bakers to you. In all honesty, I found all of those things that I have mentioned a little dry, so avoid them, but from experience the fresh bread is gorgeous, especially when still warm. At christmas time try the Brandy mince pies, amazing, and I often nip in for a quick drink of Oasis or the like, reasonably priced and a quick service.

What can i say. I went there yesterday. Just like a normal greggs. Absolutely fantastic. Cheap delicious food coupled with fantastic service results in a great choice of place to eat.

Greggs is great if you fancy a snack. Its a bakery that sells all the usual cakes and pastries as well as sandwiches. Its pretty cheap too but not particularly healthy, you could find somewhere better. This Greggs is located near uni which is ideal if you fancy something on the way to uni or if youre at the library on a sunday during exams and nowhere else is open.

I love the iced buns that Greggs sell and the prices are standard. I find that the staff could be more gracefull as they don't seem to care about the customer service.
There is a good range of food to choose from in Greggs and it is always made perfectly. I use Greggs to buy my breakfast every morning.
