This cafe may look shabby but it is great and has such a good reputation within Manchester. The food is not fussy, it's great british food like bangers and mash and roasts and never fails to deliver. The service on the other hand can be a little poor and the staff are sometimes a fair bit ratty but i think if you go with that in mind and just want some well cooked comfort food and to chill then it's a great place.

A very unusual bar on four different floors. One of the floors has an outside terrace which is nice in the summer. The burgers are very nice definately worth a visit when in the northern quarter.

I absolutely love Trof! Fantastic for a chilled out drink and chat, or even a good bit of grub for a really reasonable price.
The wallpaper is great, I love it and the balcony is perfect for a quick cig without getting wet. Love it.

This place is awesome. I spent many a days revising here for my exams which were in may. Staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was epic and yes, the food was a little more expensive than your average but, in retrospect trof is far from average!

I love this place. It has a great atmosphere and is perfect for a quite drink, or some good food day or night. Brillant place to come for a really nice cooked breakfast after a night out. It is slightly more expensive than some of the student pubs but definitely worth it.

I love this place! Where i discovered the joys of Kopparberg! Lovely interiors and always full of friendly people and bar staff. The vibe is very chilled out and theres often bands and poetry readings upstairs. It can be pricey but its places like this that coined the phrase "you get what you pay for". Well worth the money in my opinion. Great bar!

Quite possibly one of my favourite places in Manchester. Three floors of brilliant decor, comfortable seating and choices of great drinks (the pear cider a must!) and top notch food!!

This is a really cool cafe which serves georgeous breckfasts that are ideal for when you are hungover. There is an outdoor area with heaters which is really nice to sit in.
They do a range of other food from chips to really nice pannis especially the brie one.
It is in a brilliant location for Manchester students

Bang in the middle of Fallowfield it is packed with students but is the place to be if you're 'cool'! Great and quirky place with relaxed and cool atmosphere. Food is delicious and different choices to other pubs/bars. Can be a bit pricey but I recommend Trofs house wine its a really cheap bottle and goes down very easily. The balcony is perfect for curing hangovers, sit there under the heaters reminiscing about the night goings on while you munch on the big breakfast - it always works for me and my friends! Also there hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows is heaven!

A great place for food, pricey, but it's worth the money (most of the time). It is a nice place to go to socialise, they do have a balcony with heating and it does provide a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The staff: i cant really decide whether the service is good or not because it does depend onthe staff, sometimes i will get a fantastic service and sometimes they leave me fuming after a meal.
