JJB is a great place to buy sports gear from, Winchester's store is quite small though and only has a handful of clothing and shoes. The staff are a downside to it because there only about two out at a time and they don't offer help they wait until you ask.

the JJB branch in winchester, is neither good or bad, its small, and cramped, with members of staff rushing to and fro from the cash machine which is located at the front of this narrow shop. Although it is small, it is packed with sports apparel, equipment and shoes. I myself bought a pair shoes the other day, and although it took a while for them to find my size, i left the same day with some tennis shoes. all in all, you can get what you want but the experience could be improved, in manners lessons, and prehaps a change of sales technique.

Is very cramped inside, with bad lighting, but it sells all fashionable sports kit and gear to go with it. people inside are alright, quite high prices but thats the price you pay for labels

JJB's used to be a really good sports shop, beating Wilds with its good stock and good sports shoes range, but I went there today, and it reminds me of a one way road- it's so over clustered with the clothes that no-one buys, it's really annoying, it makes me want to just move a whole clothes stand to one side. The good thing is; is that there is still a great range of good sports shoes at the back of the store.

Small shop where the staff aren't very friendly or helpful and there is only a small but very expensive range of football boots. However, I would recommend buying equipment such as shinpads and knee straps from here as they are very reasonably priced. They also sell football shirts which are quite expensive, but once you've bought it, it costs 5 pound to have your name printed on the back.

This shop is smaller than your average sports shop but is seems to have all of the essencial things you need to start up a sport. the prices are quite steep and the shop is quite cramped, but the people seem nice to talk to and are very helpful. The clothes and gear is always up to date.

Good place to go for sporting equipment, especially outfits like tennis skirts and football shirts. There's also a shoe department at the back with a huge selection of trainers. Be warned, the prices are high.

This store doesn't stock a huge amount of products as it's quite small shop but the staff have always been very helpful, especially when it comes to buying trainers. It's a good place for swimming gear.

This is a small shop but is situated in a good place along the high street. I find that is dosn't have good stock as whenever i go their to get football boots the ones i want are always sold out. The staff seem a bit lazy and i only ever see tham talking but the queue's are never long and i tend to get some stuff from there.
