I had an account with the Royal Bank Of Scotland for a few years until recently. The problem I have found is that the Royal Bank Of Scotland does not seem to be open at the weekends, not even in the morning like many other banks. Because I do a lot of my banking at weekends I decided to close my account. I went in and expected this to be very easy and they made it very difficult. I had to fill in a form, then wait 2 hours around town until they processed the form. Then they said I had to come back next week to discuss the account. I have never heard of this before and I got very annoyed about the whole thing. I am now with another bank.
