Baja is a tacky beach themed club in the centre of Leeds. Its pretty dirty and tacky, playing very cheesy music. Students come here as its cheap but I'm not sure even cheap drinks could encourage me to go back. The decor is awful, its appears just like a wooden shack. The floors are sticky and full of glass. Fun place to come if your already smashed but otherwise its a pretty grim experience.

I used to love this beach themed club when I was a fresher, we used to come all the time for cheesy music and cheap drinks. However, recently it has gone down hill a bit, it has tried to reintroduce lots of different student nights in the last year, none have seemed to be that successful. It used to be good on a Saturday night too, I'd say now though go somewhere else.

Baja has changed so much. I use to enjoy my night out here. It has become so tacky and dirty. The only reason i go nowadays is because the drinks prices are so low. But if you do decide to go to baja expect glass on the floor, dirty toilets and cheesy music throughout the night.

Great place for cheezy music, cheapish drinks and free candy floss. I haven't been here since first year, but i did used to enjoy it and it has a very studenty atmosphere! i think its a good place to go if your a fresher!

In my opinion, baja is one of the worst clubs in Leeds. What possesses people to go here ill never know. The floor is sticky, the music is bad, the atmosphere is poor and the interior is horrible. I havent set foot in this club for a long time, and dont intend to eer do so again.

I can't stand this club, even the free candyfloss at the door makes you feel sick after a few beers. It is so tacky inside and they play cheesy pop music all night long. It is never very busy which means the atmosphere is not too good and the bar staff are always quite moody. Not the best night in Leeds by far, but I guess it may be alright if you were on a fancy dress night out and all you wanted to do was dance to cheesey music and drink lots of cheap alchohol - but even this is just mainly alcopops as everything else is more expensive!!

this is a weird, club/bar. You first go in and think it is quite cool but the music is a bit random . It is not usually that busy and so there is no atmosphere. there are better places to go in Leeds

Yuck. Baja is a horrible place to spend an evening. Horrible cheesy music, revolting bar staff and girls dressed up pretty much nothing. This place really isn't my cup of tea! As the person below commented, you do get free candy floss, but thats about as good as it gets. What a horrible place.

Best thing about this place - the free candifloss when you walk in!! Not the best night in Leeds by far, but not bad if all you want is a dance to cheesey music and lots (and lots) of cheap alchohol -particularly alchopops!! Everything, including the drinks, is a bit sickly sweet - the decor is very tacky. A fresher's haunt, and not a place to take a visitor - it definately lacks class and sophistication! Also, the annoying DJ talks alot about the local leeds radio station - radio air - and it gets on your nerves after a while!

The window display says it all: it has an inflatable VK bottle, an inflatable shark, sand and an advert for the cheesy music local radio station. Enjoyable if you like tackiness, and if you get very drunk beforehand.
