Reasonable prices compared to Jackson's arounf the corner. Decent selection of freezer foods, booze, pop and chocs. Staff need some customer service training! Always got to queue which for a convenience store, well....isn't convenient. Anyway best store in the area if a little pricey. Open till late. Just opposite the park, so good on summer afternoons when you just want a drink and some sun.

An average small convenience store stocking in all of the usual household necessities. The only issue with this store is usually it is quite poorly stocked and therefore the some items can sell out very quickly

As these little 'convenience supermarkets' go, this is probably the best one in the student area. A lot cheaper than Jackson's and a wider range of food on offer, including tesco's own brand food, which lowers prices significantly. Queues don't often build up unbearably long but it can get bust around tea time.

Good stock of magazines, chocolate, freezer ready meals, cigarettes. is cheaper than Jacksons and more convinient for the walk to Uni. Staff are always bored and dont say thankyou but Im not really bothered in there as its just a convinience store.

well located convenience store, close to student halls, and local student housing and pubs. very friendly staff, who recognise the regulars, and are always helpful and relatively well stocked. however, it is only really suitable for cigarettes, soft drinks, and sweets as shopping can be expensive, with co-op like produce with no home brands.

Great place to go for late night desperation runs for chocolate, fags and alcohol! Everything you need, close at hand. Reasonably fair prices but what you would expect from a smaller super market shop.

Really cheap convenience store, especially compared to Jackson's down the road. However, the store is so hard to navigate around!! Last year especially you physically had to squeeze yourself down the aisles (which is really hard when you have uni books on you!) but they've slightly changed the layout which is better now.Always has a good selection of chocolate, drinks, and lots of freezer foods. Doesn't do the lottery however. Staff is slightly hit and miss, sometimes very friendly, other times not so happy! Always big queues though, which goes all the way down the alcohol aisle! Cash back costs 60p, very inconvienient! All round very handy though.
