Argos is good, but its quite a lengethy process of collecting your goods. You have to pay for it first, so you can queue there for ages, then you have to often queue to collect your purchases. They have tried to organise it well, there is a monitor that displays your ticket number, and seating provided so you don't had to stand up and literally queue, but it is a bit of a chore. Though the products they sell are often good value for money.
This argos is just like any other. There arent that many machines to check the quantities of certain products though. They have so many products available and its a great place to go for furniture, jewellery, bedding, toys etc.
Argos has always been a popular store. This particular branch is relatively small, although despite this the service is fast and there are rarely queues.
There are always promotional offers on products, with great discount deals and free vouchers for customers who spend over a certain amount of money.

I never used to like Argos because it used to involve queuing for hours whilst the single cashier worked through millions of customers. However, with the installation of the self-service pay here machines you can be in and out in a matter of minutes. Consequently, the cheapness of Argos can now be combined with the efficiency of shopping at leisure! No more queues at long last!!
Now that they've got those quick pay machines, your shopping experience will be a whole lot quicker! The best thing about Argos is definitely the prices, which are incredibly reasonable. The worst thing about Argos is that everything is so generic - so it's not really the best place to go for anything special or one of a kind!
This is a great store if you quickly want to nip in somewhere and get something quick. The ques are not that bad. The staff are ok but you get the impression that do not always know what they are talking about
A great catalogue store which provides the user with a vast selection of products to choose from. The one in leeds is always very well stocked so most products are always in and if not the ordering service is available which is very efficient
Argos, well were can i start, they never have anything is stock, there are alway's long que's and never any short que's, it is not a very organised system and if you order something it may not come for at least 2 or 3 day's. It seems very disorganised to me. The staff are not very helpful either and they can come across rude.
This is one of two argos' in leeds. It is large than the other one. They have a good system of typing in your order to find out its price and availibility then you can order it from the counter and collect in in about 10 mins from the dispenser. Its a unique system that only argos use and it works! Im not a fan because there are hardly any sales and you are relying purely on a photo from the magazine.
This is a larger Argos store so they generally have everything in the catalogue which is really useful. Once you have got your head around the system its a really effective way of shopping, they always have a wide variety of prices on their huge stock of goods from toys to electricals even furniture and jewellery. You can always manage to pick up a catalogue to take away with you - although they are very heavy!
I like the system in operation in Argos, though I can't for the life of me work out where there's room to store everything in the catalogue. The prices are always pretty good, particularly on electrical goods when compared to places like the Sony store. Big jewelry section as well, for men and women.
The system in place at Argos seems quite strange first but its easy to get used to. There is a massive amount of stuff sold at Argos and at a good price partly due to the aforementioned strange ordering system!
Catalogue shop, where products are not on display but chosen through the catalogue and then paid for and collected. This can be done instore, but I find it more convenient to choose what I want online, reserve it and then collect it when it is convenient for me. I usually find the stuff in the sale more easily that way, and it saves time. This branch is ok, but the que for the tills can be a bit long.
Argos is a strange shopping experience! it was quite confusing when i had my first 'argos experience' as there is a system in place which consists of queues and tickets, however this system does work well and you generally get in and out quickly having picked up what you needed. argos is good for electrical items and homeware and it is very cheap!
I've always been a fan orfargos, particularly for home furnishing items. However both times I've used this store not only have the queues been massive, the staff un friendly, it seems to take them an un neccisarily long time to find your product in the stockroom. Not a fast moving shopping trip!
great for ordering online and picking up from the store. however ques can be very long in the actualy shop and get some very strange characters often have really good bargins and the quality of the products is always consistent
quite often you find very strange people inside... but great if you reserve the item online and just come in to the store to pick up the item. got quite a few things from there for my household. Staff are ok. Great bargains every now and then.
Such a great concept. Although manic over christmas, normally pretty easy and quick to get what you want. Such a wide range of choices. Staff helpful. Spare a thought for the poor people upstairs moving boxes though! Finding if things are in stock before going to the counter a bonus. Good for getting presents, caters for everyone, kids, toys, women, beauty products, etc.
Well, pretty much all Argos' are the same, but I love them anyway. Shop online and have your items reserved in store or get texts when they are available. This particular branch can get a bit over-crowded at times, but when you consider the amount of time you usually spend in store (since there isn't any milling about looking at merchandise) this isn't really much of a problem.Opening hours: Mon-Wed, Fri & Sat: 09:00-18:00; Thu: 09:00-20:00; & Sun: 10:30-16:30
