I do not really like revolution as a bar. As Newcastle is a very student and lively city I do not feel that revolution appreciates the students. For example during freshers week a pub crawl was lead there but they turned away about 20 people because some where in fancy dress, a company policy I think not to let anyone in fancy dress enter. Also the drink prices even on student nights tend to be really expensive.

You can get some great offers in here if you buy an i heart card which are usually available during freshers week or by getting one of the many voucher books that people hand out around the universities. Other than that the drinks arent exactly cheap but the cocktails are lush and they also have lots of shots to choose from in flavours that you would never even imagine existed. Because there is so much choice you will want to try them all so you are likely to walk out of here rather drunk. Its decorated really nice as is the building itself, definately a bit special in comparison to some other bars. Can get quite busy so its worth buying a few drinks at a time to save waiting in the queue again.

Not usually full of many students due to its rather pricey drinks and extravagant cocktails. Revolution is a very cool bar with some funky chill out music which is a welcome change to a lot of the cheesy music played in the cheap student bars. Not a place you would go before every night out due to the price but a cool place to go to now and again.
During the day there are usually lots of good food offers on including a 2 for 1 offer on steaks (which are very nice by the way!).

Revolution is relatively more upmarket in comparison to some bars in Newcastle! The decor is gorgeous, and it's ideal for pre- or post-dinner drinks. Boasting a huge range of vodka-based cocktails and generously sized flavoured vodka shots, it's an impressive venue. Depending on offers and if you have a Revolution card or vouchers you can end up with good offers such as 2-4-1 on cocktails and shotsticks. Not recommended the night before a 9am seminar!! And don't ever share a 10 shot vodka stick with only one other person... Bad times...

While Revoultion is pretty expensive you are paying for really good service and fantastic interior design. If you have an I love vodka card you can get discounts on drinks and often get vouchers for bogof cocktails and shot sticks. These make drinks a reasonable price and so you get good tasting drinks and a cheap price, what could be bad about that? Only problem with the place is the bouncers as they are obviously told to keep a high reputation there is a strict no fancy dress policy and they refuse entry to anyone they don't like the look of, this may be merely because there are a few lads.

Revolution is known for its variety of vodka drinks. Revolution is student friendly, mostly because of its cheap prices on selected drinks, and upbeat atmosphere. Its not as popular as so of the other bars in newcastle, however due to the fast service when wanting to get served, it means you spend more money on alochol than anticipated.

Vodka Revolution is popular amongst students, and is a vibrant bar in a wonderful setting, the architecture is lovely. The drinks can be quite expensive but the cocktails are so nice so you dont mind paying a bit extra. You can buy any flavour of vodka you can think of here!

Amazing bar inside a converted bank it has real character with the pilars of the bank still in place. Great cocktails and great atmosphere always busy and the waiters are reallf friendly and skilled.

This bar has good deco and is a bar that places alot of emphasis on its range of vodkas,you name it they have it!It has great seating and good music

This is a really great place with amazing cocktails and they're cheap if you have a snapfax as you can get 2 for a fiver! There's a really good atmosphere too - the perfect start to the night!
