There is a few branches of Nando's in the center and this is within an indoor complex called the Light near the city center. It has outside seating, which isn't really outside but i creates a nice atmosphere anyway! The decor inside is really nice and kept looking really good. The service is quick and the staff are often students and friendly. Prices in Nando's are cheap for the quantity and tastiness of the food! The main food is chicken but there are some good veggie options. An average meal with a drink wouldn't cost more than £10, unless your drink was alcoholic. It has a nice atmosphere, part of the kitchen is visible from your seats which opens up the space. It's also handy as it is right next to the cinema.

I used to work opposite the light, and we used to ring over an order to them and arrange a collection, and they would give us a time to collect, we could always then just walk to the counter collect our take out and pay, simple easy and trouble free! Excellent place!
I visited this weekend with friends, who have never eaten at a Nando's before and we enjoyed our meals. We were seated quickly and the ordering system was explained quickly and thoroughly. After deciding on our meal I went to order, the queue was about 8 people long but went down very quickly and the waitress on the till was lovely and double checked she'd got our order right which is helpful when there are so many options. The best thing about eating at any Nando's restaurant is the way you can tailor your meal so it's exactly as you like it. I had a halloumi and mushroom pita which was tasty and really different to usual vegetarian options, my mate had a chicken pita and chips. We shared a bottle of wine, both had dessert and bought some peri peri sauce to take home, this cost about 25 which we thought was great value. You can definitely eat here a lot cheaper than this if you just want a quick meal and stick to the refillable soft drinks on offer. A great place for a long lunch as well as anevening meal.

The Nando's in the Light is quite a large restaurant, which serves very nice food for very reasonable prices, as long as you like chicken! There is seating inside and outside the restaurant, but it can get busy, especially because you order at the till, so at times there are quite long queues. However, the food is excellent, and I have often found the portions to be large, so it is worth the wait. Just make sure you don't underestimate the heat of the piri piri sauce.

This is the nicest Nando's I've been to, the staff are slightly friendlier and less rushed than at other restaraunts. The food is reasonably priced (and better than other places in The Light) but my parents insist that it is very confusing for the middle aged! Portions are on the smallish side, so you probably need to get a couple of side-orders. Worth a visit if you're on your way to the cinema though!

The chicken is so good! I like getting a quarter chicken with coleslaw and chips, as its reasonably cheap and good, but if your hungry, go for half a chicken, or the platter of wings. You can choose how spicy it is which is good, medium is good enough for me, and the sauce you can get is delicious. The restaurant is good, its not a terribly classy place, but on the positive side you don't have to dressup to eat out there!

Love chicken, love nando's. If your not a fan of chicken i wouldnt recommend nando's to you, as nearly every dish on the menu contains, your guessed it, chicken!
Service is great, you get to choose what you want, without the pressure of a waiter, waiting on you hand and foot.
Prices are cheap and the food is great, and the outlet is clean, what more could you ask for.

the light is a great location for this restaurant due to its excellent links. this is good if you like chicken, pretty hard if you don't! good meal before the cinema or with friends after shopping but not the best social occasion or date location! well priced food and good fun for all

Really nice location in this large Leeds city centre shopping centre. Is always busy but you will never have to wait too long for a table. A really nice eating concept. Once you know what you want you go up order and pay for it and simply wait for it to come up. The chicken is always amazing. Have yet to have had a bad meal here!

A bit confusing really if you've never been before, because you don't order as you would in a standard restaurant and you can't decide whether it's a fast food place or a real restaurant. But once you've got your food it's pretty yummy, and pretty reasonable too.
