I joined Nizels over the summer to work off some of that university flab and found it to be a delightful place to spend considerable amounts of time, which would usually be a horrible, sweaty nightmare.Firstly cost- it s a luxury health club and as such carries a price tag, normal membership standing at a whopping 50 pounds a month. Luckily they offer a student deal in summer months which allows a considerable discount just under £60 for 6 weeks. This is quite unusual i believe, especially among such lovely healthclubs, of course everyone can get fit for cheap at the local disease ridden leisure centre but wheres the fun in that eh? if you use the club 3 times a week you can easily make your £10 per week back.Facilities- The best thing about Nizels in my opinion is that the fitness classes including aerobics, body conditioning and combat related classes are all included in membership, the classes are small and the studios light, cool and modern. The Gym is also very good, mainly kitted out for cardio but also has a free weights section for those a bit manlier than me! This is going to make me sound superficial but the machines even have indivdual TVs which really impressed me! The staff are all really friendly and helpful. The club also has a really nice pool with sauna and steam room, really opulent changing rooms!, and a salon which i didnt use. Neither can i comment on the golf facilities!
